 ആദിയായ്ദിനദേവനായെത്തീട്ടു

 മോദമെങ്ങും വളർത്തി വിളങ്ങുന്ന 

മേദിനിയെപ്രഭയാൽതഴുകുന്ന

 ആദിത്യഭഗവാനേ വണങ്ങുന്നേൻ

 

Aadhiyaayi   dhina devanaayi  yetheettu

Modamengum  valarthi  vilangunna

Medhiniye   prabhayaal  thazhukunna

Aadhithya   bhagavane   vanangunnen

 

At the very first after reaching   as  God of the day

He who  increased   happiness everywhere

He who embraced the earth   with his light

I salute   The   God Adhithya(Sun God)

 

അംശുദായകനാകുംഭഗവാനേ 

അംശുദനെന്നുംനാമംഭവാനഹോ 

അംശുധാരനുമങ്ങെന്നുനിർണ്ണയം 

ആശുകശുഭത്തിന്നായ്‌ വണങ്ങുന്നേൻ

 

Amsu dhayakan aakum  Bhagwane

Amsudhan  yenna  namam bhavannu aho

Amsu  dharanum   angennu  nirnayam

Aasuka  shubathinnai vanangunnen

 

Oh God who  gives ray of light,

To You is the name   “Giver of light”

It is definite that  you carry  light

And I am saluting you for goodness  due to heat

 

 ഭാനുഭാസ്കര മാർത്താണ്ഡനിങ്ങനെ 

മാനമേറുന്നനാമഗണങ്ങളും

 ഭാനുദേവനാംഭാസ്കരപാദേഞാൻ 

ദീനനായിതാനിത്യംവണങ്ങുന്നേൻ

 

Bhanu bhaskaran  , marthandan yenningane

Maanam yerunna   namaganangalum

Bhanu devanaam  , bhaskara  padhe  jnaan

Dheenanaayi itthaa  nithyam  Vanangunnen

 

The god of splendor  , giver of light, the sun god  , like this

You have several  names  that  increase  your respect

On the feet  Bhaskra  who is  god of  splendor

I  , as a poor one , salute   daily

 

പിന്നെ നല്ല പ്രഭാകരനെന്നതും 

നന്നതാകുംദിനമണിയെന്നതും

ഇന്നുനമ്മിൽപകലോനതാകുന്ന 

ഉന്നതാഭഗവാനേവണങ്ങുന്നേൻ 

 

Pinne nalla  prabhakaran   yennathum

Nanna thakum  Dhina  Mani yennathum

Innu  nammil  pakolon athaakunna

Unnathaa , bhagawane,  Vananunnen

 

Later   you had name    Maker of Light

And the good name    Maker of the day

And nowadows among us as one who can be seen in a day

Oh Great  God  , I salute  you

 

ആദിത്യനാദിആയിരംനാമവും 

വേദവിത്തനുമായമഹാപ്രഭോ 

മോദമിന്നുമനസ്സിനേകീടുവാൻ 

ആദിത്യാദേവാവീണ്ടും  വണങ്ങുന്നേൻ

 

AAdhiyan aadhi  aayiram  namavum

Veda   vithanum   aaya  Maha  Prabho

Modham innu  manasinnu  yekeeduvaan

AAdhithyaa   devaa  Veendum Vanangunnen

 

Having  one thousand names starting  with Adhithya

Oh Great  Lord who is a great expert  in Vedas

To give  happiness  to our mind

Oh God  Adhithyaa  , I again salute you
