Soora padhmaal  upadravam  than sahiyaamal , devarkal thaan,

Maara vairi kitte vanthu murai murayai  kooraluthaar

Unable to bear  the troubles given by  Soorapadma  and others,

The Devas approached  the enemy of Manmatha  and started  teling

Athi kopamaka   eesan ambikayai than paarthu,

Athu moolam rethassu  than   avani thannil than veezha

With great anger  the Lord  stared at the mother Goddess,

And due to that the viurility  of the   God   fell on the earth

Avani porukkamal athai ,

Varunan kayyil than kodukka,

Since the   earth was not able to bear,

It Gave it in the hands of Varuna

Yennal aagathendru othungi nindru than uraithaar,

Haranum athai  yedu yedu  yendru anantharmum than uraikka,

Sivan uraitha sollinaale seegram  agni than yeduthaar,

Angayirunthu yeduthu molla  anna nadayai  nadanthu,

Gangai  thannil kondu vittaar

He told   that  it is not possible  for me  ,

And Lord Shiva again told   take it , take it,

And due to the words of Shiva Lord   Agni took it ,

And from there  slowly walked like   a swan,

And left  it in the ganges

Gangayum porukkamale,

Naanal chedi naduvil naalu rendumai  pirinthiu,

Vaanavarkal  vanthu  mange varisayudan valainthu  nilkka,

Senkathiron  aaru vanthu sevayudan  udithaal poal,

Angayirunthu avatharitha arumayaana  aaru mukha,

Unable to bear it  river ganges,

Left it  in the saravana bush as  four and two,

And  with all  devas coming there  and stood surrounding with presents,

Just like   the  Sun God   being born in six different partsx,

Oh Arumukha  you were  born out from there

Yiru moondru  kuzhanthaikalum  oru poale  than azhave,

Arinthu  aaru nakshatrangal  irangi vanthu  mulai  kodukka,

Sankariyum arinthu vanthu  sevayudan  pidithu   anaikka,

Sernthathu  aarum sisiukkal  ondraai,

Shanmukham  , kai eeraarai

When all the  six babies started  cryimg together,

Six stars knowing it came  down and fed them breastmilk,

And Goddess  Parvathi knowing  it and with affection embraced them,

All the  babies  became  in to one,

With six  heads  and twelve  hands

Othinaar om nama  yendru avarayum pidithu anaithu,

Veda  srushti cheithavare, velayudhane  paarum,

Onpathaam matharkalai  umakkaka  undu cheithu,

SAmbasivan puthirane  soorarkalai  than vadhikka

She embraced him and said  “Om namo”. And said,

“Oh  God who made vedic creation, Oh  Lord with vEl, please  see,

Who created  the ninth  mother   for  your sake,

And when the son of  SAmbha shiva killed  Sooras,

Thaararkalai  than vaditheer,

DEvarkalai than kaatheer,

You killed THaarars,

And you  protected  the devas

Soorarkalai , than vaditha Soorasamhara  saranam

Ommudaya  leelaikalai  uraithu mudiyaathu yennal,

Yen manathin aasayinaal  , uraithen,

Bhakthan naan koncham

I surrender  to the Soora SAmhara who killed  Sooras,

I am unable to tell  all your  sportds,

But due   to the desire  in my mind,

I as a devotee told this much
