(This was the m national anthem of the  kingdom  of Travancore.It is said that  it is written in mani pravalam- a mixture  of  Malayalam- , Sanskrit  and Tamil. It seems  though it euologises  the  king of Travancore  , It was not sung in  The Padmanabha swami temple, )

സഞ്ജിതാഭം ജയിക്കേണം

ദേവദേവൻ ഭവാനെന്നും

ദേഹസൗഖ്യം വളർത്തേണം

 

Vanchibhoomipathe   chiram

Sanchithaabham  Jayikkanam

Deva  devan bhavaan yennum

Deha  saukhyam  valarthanam

 

Oh lord of trvancore, for a long time

Your  accumulated splendor(wealth?)   should win

You    are  the  god of  gods  and  forever

You should  improve the  health (happiness) of the  people

പത്തനമായി ഭവിക്കേണം

The actions(minds) of all people should,

Beblessed  by you/become  centre  of your  attention

താവകമാം കുലം മേന്മേൽ

ശ്രീവളർന്നുല്ലസിക്കേണം

The   clan that  is yours ,should
