P.R. Ramachander, also known as "Raja Thatha," is a widely recognized scholar and translator best known for his digital archiving of Hindu prayers and Carnatic music.

He has received several major awards for his extraordinary lifelong contributions to spiritual literature, most notably

:Lifetime Achievement Award: Conferred by the Food for Thought Foundation in recognition of his monumental efforts to make complex ancient texts accessible in English.

World Record Award: Recognized by the International Book of Records for setting a world record by translating over 3,100 Hindu prayers into English and making them freely accessible to a global audience

.India Book of Records: Honored for his record-breaking feat of translating the maximum number of books and prayers on Lord Rama into English.

Note: Before his post-retirement spiritual mission, he had an illustrious 36-year career as an agricultural statistician with ICAR, where he was honored as a "Top Scientist of the Millennium" by an institution in England and made a Fellow of the Indian Genetic Society in 1967.
