Short cut   to read  Vishnu  Sahasranama:-

I.In the phala sruthi  of Vishnu  sahasranama, lord Vishnu  says  , even if you read  one sloka, he would  be satisfied

Sri Bhagawanuvacha:

Yo mam nama sahasrena stothumichadi pandava,

Sohamekena slokena sthutha eva na samsaya

Sthutha eva na samsaya Om Nama Ith, 24

The Lord Said:

He who likes, Oh Arjuna,
To sing my praise,
Using these thousand names,
Should know Arjuna ,
That I would be satisfied,
By his singing of,
Even one stanza ,
Without any doubt.

II.Later Goddess  parvathy asks  , who learned  people  easily to chant  the full Vishnu  sahasranama   and  Lord Shiva replies  , it is sufficient  if they chant “Rama, Rama, Rama”

Parvatyuvacha:

Keno upayena Laguna  Vishnor nama sahasragam,

Patyadher Pandither nithyam Srothumichamyaham Prabh, 25

Parvathi said:

I am desirous to know oh Lord,
How the scholars of this world,
Will chant without fail,
These thousand names ,
By a method that is easy and quick.

Easwara Uvacha:

Sri Rama Rama ramethi reme rame manorame,

Sahasra nama thathulyam rama nama varanane

Rama nama varanane om nama ith, 27

Lord Shiva said:

Hey beautiful one,
I play with Rama always,
By chanting Rama Rama and Rama,
Hey lady with a beautiful face,
Chanting of the name Rama ,
Is same as the thousand names.

Om Nama Rama Nama is same as

Reading   the  one thousand names of vishnu

III. There  is prayer called  Vishnu  Ashta vimasathi namam.

Arjuna tells Krishna  that

Arjuna asked

Kim nu  Nama sahasraani  japathe    cha puna puna,

Yaani  Naamani   divyaani  Thaani cha  Chachkshaya  Kesava

Why  is it necessary to chant    your thousand  names   again and again,

Oh Kesava  , please tell me   those divine  names which are  important to the eyes?

Krishna replies  that chanting  of 28 names  of Vishnu  given by   https://stotrarathna.blogspot.com/2020/01/lord-krishna-tells-arjuna-shortcut-to.html  is sufficient  .

!V  there is a system    which allots  one stanza per  one pasha  of the 27 stars. Since  Vishnu  Sahasranama  has 108 stanzas  , it tells us  that all that we need is to that  those  two lines  as per https://stotrarathna.blogspot.com/2019/09/vishnu-sahasranama-slokas-corresponding.html

   It is  up to you to believe Lord Vishnu /Lord Shiva/Lord Krishna/ The other author ?
