Aadhiyum neeye

Amararkalai  kaathathum neee

Jyothiyum  neeye,  thulakavathum neeye

Soora samharam cheithathum neeye

 

You are the beginning

You are one who protected the devas

You are the flame, you are  one who makes  others shine

You are  the one who killed  Soora

 

Vedhavum neeye, vimalanum neeye

Velvi malaikku arasan aanathum  neeye

Nadhanum neeye, geethanum  neeye

Naan mukhanai chirayil vaithathum neeye\

 

You are the Vedas , you are  the pure one

You are the one became king to the  mountain of yaga

You are  the lord, you are one who is sung about

You are  the one who kept brahma  of four faces in jail

 

Athi mukhane  pothi, Ananandam pothi, pothi

Sakthi ganapathiye  pothi, saanthane  pothi pothi

Parichayamaana  velar mel  vanangi  naan sthuthikal cgeyya

Vaakkukal  thavaraamal maha gananum  kaapputhaame

Saraswathiyum vaaniyumai thavaraamal naavi vara,

Sarasmaaka   gajadhayavudane  munnadakka

Pala vakayyana modhakavum, pila kaniyum , maankaniyum

Varisayudan naan padaithen, vallabhakkum ganapathikkum’

Athi rasamum payasamum  appam vadai thengaayum

Kadalai pori avil payaru, kalkkandum   cheeniyumai

Kadaliyodu panakavum  karpooram thaamboolam

Sarasamaaka naana padaithen, shanmukha   velayudhane

 

Hail elephant faced one, hail, hail , the eternal joy

Hail  the powerful ganapathi, hail , hail the peaceful one

To compose prayers after saluting the  the  Ganesa  well known to me

The great ganapathy  would grant right words and protect

With Saraswathi and Vani together  come on my toungue

With the  elephant faced on easily  walking in front

Various types of modhakas , jack fruit  , mango fruit

With  propriety , I made and to Ganesa  with his wife

I made  properly athi rasam , payasam , appam, vada  , coconut

Ground rut , puffed rice, beaten rice, cow pea, rock sugar along with sugar

Along with banana  , panaka, karpoora    and thamboola, Oh lordShanmuga  who has vel as weapon

 

SAnmukha nadhaa  va va  , shadakshara  porule  va va,

Valli nayakane  va , va, Bala  subramanya va va va

Singara muruga va va, shiva kami  kumara  va va

Pazhaniyandavane va va, bhakthanukoola va va va

 

Oh Lord Shanmukha come , come, Oh  meaning of six letters, come, come . come

Oh lord  of Valli come , come, Oh boy  Subrahmanya  come ,come, come

Oh well décorated muruka come come, Oh son of Shivakami come, come , come
