உனை தெய்வம் என்பதா

குருநாதன் என்பதா

எனை பார்த்து பார்த்து வளர்ப்பதனால்

அன்னை என்பதா

உன்னைக் கடவுள் என்பதா

கருணை வடிவம் என்பதா

ஐயா ஞான தானம் தந்த உன்னைத்

தந்தை என்பதா. (உ).

 

Unnai  deivam  yenpathaa

Gurunadhan yenpathaa

Yennai Paarthu paarthu  valarppathanaal

Annai  yenpathaa

Unnai  kadavul  yenpthaa

Karunai  vadivam yenpathaa

Ayyaa Jnana Dhanam  Thantha  unnai

Thanathi  yenpathaa

 

Shall  I call you  God,

Shall I call you  Guru Nadha

Because  you carefully and carefully  grow me up

Shall I call I  you  mother

Shall I call you God

Shall I  call you personification of Mercy

Oh Lord who gave  me wisdom

Shall I call you  father?

 

சேரும் செல்வமெல்லாம் உன் அருளன்றோ

பாடும் பாடல் எல்லாம் உன் நினைவன்றோ

எந்த நேரமும் உன் நினைவன்றோ

எந்தன் குடும்பமே உன்னை மறக்குமா

ஒவ்வொரு அரிசியிலும் உன் முகமன்றோ

சாமி முருகையா சரணம் முருகையா

நீ இருக்கின்றாய் அது போதும்

சில நேரம் உன்னை நினைக்கும் போது

Yenneramum un ninaivandro,

Yenthan Kudumbame unnai  marakkumaa

Ovvoru  arisiyulum  un mukhamandro,

Saami  Murukayyaa, Sarnam Murukayyaa

Nee irukkindraai  Athu pothum

Chila  neram unnai  ninaikkum pothu

Kan  kalanguthappa

 

Are  you not  the  wealth  which accumulates

Is not all the  songs  that I sing about you

Am I not  seeing your  face in every rice

Oh God Muruka , I surrender to you , Muruka

Yen uyiril kalanthu naavil puralum

The  boat  of life shakes  and moves
