Vaishnava sampradhaya  Dhyana slokas

Ramanuja    dhaya pathram , jnana vairagya  bhooshanam
SriMad  Venkaranadharyam vandhe  Vedantha   desikam,
Lakshmi nadha  samarambham nadhayamuna  madhyamam,
Asmad acharya  paryantham vandhe   guru paramparam

I salute Vedantha Desika  who is   srimad  Venkata nadha,
Who  is the vessel that  received mercy of Ramanuja,
Whose ornaments   are  wisdom   and detachment,
Starting    with  Lord Vishnu  , with Nadha Muni in  the middle,
Till  our this Acharya, we salute  this line   of  our  Gurus

Yo Nithyam achyutha padambuja  yugma rugma,
Vyamohathasthayidharaani trunaaya mene,
Asmad guruor bhagawathosya dhayaika   sindho,
Ramanujasya   charanou  saranam  prapadhye

He who daily   the shining pair of lotus  like feet of Achyutha,
Due to his infatuation considered  all else   simply grass,
Who is our God like Guru  , the ocean of mercy,
Is Ramanuja   and I surrender    to  his feet

Matha pitha yuva thayasthanayaa vibhuthi,
SArvam yadheva  niyamena mathanvayaanam,
AAdhyasya  na kula pather vakulabhiramam,
Srimad thadangri  yugalam pramami  moordhnaa

Mother, father, young lady  , son and wealth,
For all of us   in     our  eternal    community,
And they belong   to  the first chief  wearing Vakula   garland,
And  I salute with my head  his auspicious feet.

Bhootham sarascha mahathaahwayabhattanadhaa,
Sri Bakthi  saara kula sekhara yogi  vaahaan,
Bakthangri renu para  kala yatheendra  misraan,
Srimad Parangusa munim  pranathosmi nithyam

I daily salute  Bhuthathazhvar, Poygai Azhvar  Pei Azhvar ,
Periyaazhvar,Thirumizhisai  Azhvar, The great sage  Kulashekara
Thirupanazhvar  ,Thondar adi podi azhvar Thirumangai azhvar,
SWamy Ramanujacharya,  And sage   Nammazhvar

Gurumukamanadhithya praha vedanaseshaan,
Narapathi parikliptham  shulka madhathu kama,
Swasuramamara  vandhyam  Ranganadhasya Saakshath,
Dwijakula thilakam tham Vishnu chitham namami

He recited the Vedas, which he learnt   like a flow of river ,
And received    the  fees    determined   by the king himself,
And he  was the real father in law  lord Ranganadha saluted by  himself,
The   great one of Brahmin community Vishnu chitha whom I salute

Sriman Venkatanadharya kavi tharkika  kesari,
Vedanthacharya varyonme sannidatham   sadhaa  hrudhi,

Let  the form of Venkata Nadha , who is the lion among poets  and debators,
And who is  the greatest  among teachers  of Vedantha   always  reside in my heart.

Prahlada , Narada, Parasara, Pundareeka,
Vyasa , ambareesha Shuka, Sounaka Bheeshma kavya,
Rukmangadarjuna , Vasishta Vibheeshanadhya,
Yethanaham Parama bhagwathaan namami.

I bow my head and salute the great souls like,
Prahlada. Narada. Parasara, Pundareeka,
Vyasa, Ambarresha, Shuka, Sounaka, Bheeshma,
Rukmangadha, Arjuna, Vasishta and Vibheeshana.

 Lakshminivasa niravadya gunaika sindo:
Samsarasagara samuththaranaika setho
Vedanta vedya nijavaibhava bhakta bhogya
Sree Venkatachalapathe! thava suprabhatham(Twice)


Oh Lord in whom resides Goddess Lakshmi,
Oh Lord, who is the ocean of several things good,
Oh Lord who is the bridge helping us to cross,
The difficult sea of day-to-day life,
Oh Lord who is the ultimate meaning of Vedas,
Oh Lord, who is really the greatest,
On Lord, who makes life of devotees pleasant,
A very good morning to you,
Oh, Lord of Venkata mountains.

 Anjaneya madhi patalananam,
Kanchanadri kamaneeya vigraham,
Parijatha tharu moola vasinam,
Bhavayami bhava mana nandanam.

I bow before the darling son of the god of wind,
Who is the son of Anjana,
Who is great among killers of Rakshasas,
Who is like a golden mountain,
Who is handsome to look at,
And who lives near the roots of Parijatha tree

.Yatra yatra Raghu nada keerthanam,
Thathra thathra krudha masthakanjalim,
Bhashpa vari pari poorna lochanam,
Maruthim namatha Rakshasanthakam.

I pray and salute the son of wind god,
Who brought to end the rakshasas,
Who is always present with eye full of tears,
With head bowed in veneration,
Wherever the praise of Lord Rama is sung
