Dandakam are peculiar poems in which there is no fixed line length like all other poems. Some Dandakams are only a single line .The first and most famous Dandakam is the famous Shyamala Dandagam of Kali dasa. Out of the 2000 stotras that I have translated only 7 of them are Dandakams
