Divine  prayer   to Lord Hanuman

வாவாவா அனுமானே வளங்கள் தருவாய் அனுமானே

வாவாவா அனுமானே வளங்கள் தருவாய் அனுமானே

 

Va va  va  Anumaane  valangal;  tharuvai  Anumane

Come, come, come  Hanuman Hanuman, Give us  prosperity

உள்ளம் உருக, விழிசெருக, உடலம் எங்கும் களிபரவ,

வள்ளல் நாம ஜெபத்தாலே வழியும் கண்ணீர்த் துளிபெருக

மெல்ல இருந்த பெருமானே! வேண்டித் தினமும் தொழுவேனே!

அள்ளி வழங்கி எனதுகுறை அனைத்தம் தீராய் அனுமானே!

 

 

Ullam uruga , vizhi cheruga, udalam  yengum  kali parava

Vallal  nama japathaale  vazhiyum kanneer   thuli peruga

Mella iruntha  perumane  , vendi  dinamum  thozhuvene

Alli vazhangi  yenathn  kurai  anaithum theeraai   anumane

 

With melted mind, with  eyes  closing, with joy spreading all over  the body,

With tears  flowing due   to chanting  names  of Lord Rama,

Oh Lord who sat slowly, With a request  I will daily  salute you

Oh Hanuman  , by giving in plenty  remove   all my wants

 

பொறியும் புலனும் போனபடிப் போகும் விலங்குச் சாதியிலே

தறியா தலையும் காற்றினுக்கே தனயன் ஆனாய் மேருவிலே!

நெறியும் நிலையும் தவறாமல் நின்றாய்! யார்பால் அதுகற்றாய்?

அறியேன் உன்போல் ஒருவனையே அருள்வாய் ஐயா அனுமானே!

 

Poriyum pulanum  ponapadi pogum   vilangu  jathiyile,

Thariyaathu alayum  kaathrinukke   thanayan   aanaanai  meruvile,

Neriyum nilayum  thappamal nindraai, yaar paal athu  kathrai

Ariyen un poal oruvanaye, arulvai  ayyaa  anumaane

 

In the clan of animals, where  brain and senses go as it wishes,

To the Lord wind who wanders  without  halting , you became son in meru

And you stood  without loosing your state  and dharma, with whom did you learn that  ,

I do not know  any one like you , Bless me  oh lord  Hanuman

!

படிகம் போலும் பால்போலும் பரமா, உனது நிறம் விளங்கும்!

வெடிபோல், கோடை இடிபோல் விம்மி உனது குரல் முழங்கும்!

அடி-பா தளம் அதன்கீழே! அணிமா முடியோ விண்மேலே!

வடிவாய்க் காட்சி தருவானே! வணக்கம் வணக்கம் அனுமானே!

 

Padikam polum  , paal polum  paramaa , unathu  niram vilangum

Vedi poal, kodai idi poal  vimmi  unathu  kural  muzhangum

Adi pathala athan keezhe, anima  mudiyo    vin mele

Vadivai  kaakshi  tharuvaane , Vanakkam vanakkam  Anumane

 

Your s colour   would shine  like crystal and milk

Your voice would   hum and boom like crackers and thunder  of summer

Your feet is below  Patala and your non decorated head is above the sky

You who shows himself prettily, Salutations, salutations  Oh Hanuman

!

ஆயுள் வளரும் உன்னாலே ! அழகும் வலிவும் உன்னாலே !

பாயும், நோயும், பல்பகையும் பறந்து போகும் உன்னாலே !

கோயில் எனது நெஞ்சகமாம் ! கூறும் கவிதை மந்திரமாம் !

தேயம் தழுவும் புகழோனே ! சித்தம் இரங்காய் அனுமானே !

 

AAyul valarum   unnaale  , azhagum  valiyum   Unnale

Paayum noyum  pal pakayum   maranthu pogum    unnale,

Koyil yenaathu nenjakamaam, koorum kavithai  manthiramaam

Deyam thazhuvum  pugazhone, Chitham irangai  Hanumaane

Life span will increase  because of you, so also  beauty  and strength

Diseases  being bed ridden , several enmities , would be forgotten because of you

My heart is your temple, the poem that   I say   are   your chants

Oh Famous one   embraced  by  the country, Oh Hanuman please take pity on me

 

 

அன்னை அருளால் இவ்வுலகில் அழியா திருக்கும் பெரியதபம் !

மன்னன் அருளால் அவ்வுலகில் மலரோன் நிகராய்ப் பிரம்மபதம் !

தன்னை நம்பும் அடியார்க்குத் தலைமை தருதல் உனது குணம் !

என்னை ஆளும் பகவானே ! இன்றே அருள்வாய் அனுமானே !

 

Annai arulal  ivvulakil  azhiyathirukkum periya  thapam

Mannan arulal avvulagil malaron  nigarai  brahma padham,

Thannai  nambum   adiyaarkku thalamai  tharuthal un gunam

Yennai aalum  bhagawane , indre   arulvai anumane

 

By the grace of mother the great penance  will not get  destroyed

By the grace of the king, you will get status   equal to that of  Brahma

Your quality is to give leadership to devotees   who believe  in you

Oh god who rules  me, Please bless me  today itself  Oh Hanuman

 

ஜென்மச் சனியால், அட்டமத்தில் சீறும் சனியால், கண்டகனாம்

வன்மச் சனியால் நீச்சமுடன் வக்ரச் சனியால் உனையடைந்தோம் !

கன்மச் சனியின் பகைவிலக்கு கலங்கும் குடியை நிலைநிறுத்து !

பொன்னைப் பொழியும் கையோனே ! போற்றி போற்றி அனுமானே !

 

Janam saniyyal, attamathil  cheerum saniyaal  , kandakanaa,

Vanma saniyaal  , neechamudan vakra   saniyaal  unai   adainthom

Kanma  saniyin pagai  vilakku, kalangum  kudiyai nilai  niruthu

Ponnai  pozhiyum  kayyone, pothri pothri  anumaane

 

Due  to sani in janma, the seeting sani ineighth house, the revenging sani,

In sixthhouse due to sani who is  neecha or vakra    we  reached  you

Remove enmity of sani in position of job , please  make the  worried family firm,.

Oh lord whose hand  showers  gold, Praise  praise  oh Hanuman

 

இழந்த பொருளை மறுபடியும் எய்த வைப்பாய்; பா¢வாலே

உழர்ந்த காதல் தம்பதிகள் ஒன்று சேர உதவிடுவாய் !

அழிந்த எதையும் புதிதாக ஆக்கித் தருவாய் நல்வாழ்க்கை !

விழைந்து நாளும் பணிவேனே ! வெல்க வெல்க அனுமானே

 

Yizhantha  porulai  marupadiyum  yeitha  vaippai   paavaale

Uzharntha  kathal  thambathikal  ondru chera   udhaviduvai

Azhintha   yethayum  puthithaaka   aakki  tharuvai  nal vaazhkkai

Vizhainthu  naalum  panivena, velka  velka  hanumane

 

You would make us again reach lost things  by your prayer

You will help   for  the differing loving couple   to rejoin

You would make all destroyed things as new   as   the time passes

I will fall down and bow to you, hail  hail , Oh Hanuman

 

இணையா திருந்த இதயங்கள் இணையும் வண்ணம் அணைகட்டி

துணையாய் வந்த தோள் தொட்டு ! சுமையை வாங்கக் கைநீட்டு !

மணிவால் கொண்டு பகைகட்டு ! வருத்தம் போக்க நலமாக்கு !

கணமும் பிறியா(து) எனதுகுடி காப்பாய் நீயே அனுமானே

Inyathiruntha   idhayangal  inayum vannam   anai katti.

Thuanyai   vanthe  thol thottu , sunayai  vaanga kai nettu

Mani vaal kondu  pakai kattu, varutham pokka nalamaakku

Kanavum  piriyaathu   yenathu   kudi kaappai   neye  anumaa

 

By building dams  please connect  the hearts  which were  not connected

Touch the shoulder  which came as help and extend your hands  to receive  the burden

Tie the enemies by  your gemmed  tail,  for removing sorrow  make  things pleasant

Oh Hanuman you yourself protect my family without even moving away for a  second.
