Saravanabhava –manthram-meaning

(Lord Muruga was born out of fire sparks which came from eye of Lord Shiva. These sparks were given to ganges,But since she was not able to bear the heat, they were transferred to Agni(fire) and since he was not able to bear the heat , he was asked to transfer it to a pond near a forest bush called “sarvana” Since Lord Muruga was born here , the manthra for him is
“saravana Bhava” meaning “He who was born in Saravana .It also has another meaning
ச – லக்ஷ்மிகடாக்ஷ்ம் cha
-wealth
ர - சரஸ்வதி கடாக்ஷம் Ra- intelligence
வ – மோக்ஷம் Va-Salvation
ண – சத்ருஜயம Na-Victory over enemies
ப – ம்ருத்யுஜயம் Ba- victory over death
வ - நோயற்ற வாழ்வுVa-Life without
diseases
