Karunayna vadivazhagi kaninthu  nindranai

Vindhayaaki vilakkumaki vilangi  vanthanai

Vinnumaaki mannumaaki vetri  kandanai

Mandhamana budhiyotti manamum thanthanai

Malaril vethan unnai paada mayakkam theerthanai

Sondhamana  kaliyamma, indha naal  muthal

Yenthanodu vaazhvalikka yendrum  thanguvaai

 

Oh great Kali who is valorous as Skanda, The auspicious lotus

The merciful one  with pretty form, You stood with  mercy

As magical as a lamp you  existed

AS sky and as  earth you found victory

Driving  away the idiotic mind ,You  gave the mind

When the painful one sang about you, you put an end to his dizziness

Oh  Mother  who is ours , from today  onwards

Intha vaazhvil unai andri ingu yaarular

Mukthiyodu selva bogam muzhuvathum naattuvai

With patience  you made it greatness  you added  wealth

You  sent our  father lord Siva as an an ambassador

Making it pretty  making it thought you danced  within me

As a dancer putting off the relation , when enmity was mentioned

And came  spreading every where , drove away army and showed greenery

The own disease  and the disease  which came would run far away,

Whatever illusion   comes  in search of me

In the thought of mother  who gave birth to me would run away fast

 If we apply  little  of your turmeric which lives in the mind,

We will be able to see Subrahmanya  and the black Shiva

Veera Sakthi , dheera  Sakthi veedu kaakum sakthiye
