1,Ulakininil inbam uyyuru  vaazhvum

Unmayum  thanthiduvaan

Nilavidum oliyaai, nithiya  nidhiyai

Nindarvan nirainthiduvaan

Nalangaalye  thanthu, nanmaikal peithu

Kulangalai kaathiduvaan

Bala migu devaa,panditha devaa

Sudarsanaa sudarsanaa

 

He would give happiness in the world, the life which will take  you up, and truth

He will stand  up as the light of moon , as Forever  treasure, He  will  fill up.

Giving only good, showering good happenings, he will protect our clan

Oh god with great  strength, oh learned god, Oh Sudarsana, Oh Sudarsana

 

2.Naaranan valakkaram naadiya devan,

Naathisai Kaathiduvaan

Aaranam paadidum, Aandavar adiyavar

Aanandam  AAgiduvaan

Naaranan aanaan kavalum aanaan

Kalathai vendriduvaan

Paar pugazh devaa, paavaka  devaa

Sudarsanaa Sudarsanaa

 

The God who desired   for right hand of Naryana, Would protect all four directions

To the devotees of Lord   who sing the  vedas, He will become joy

He  became Naryana, He became the Guard, He would win over  time

Oh God  who is  very famous, Oh Very holy God , Oh Sudarshanaa , Oh Sudarshana

 

3.Chakkarathazhvan  sangadam theerppan,

sakthiyum thanthiduvaan,

Yekkanam ninaippinum akkanam Varuvaan,

yenganum  nirainthiduvaan,

Chekkarain vana chenthazhal mukhathaan,

Cheppiyarkku  aruliduvaan

Baktharin devaa, palan tharum devaa,

 sudarsanaa, sudarsanaa

 

The  saint of wheel , would end your sorrows, Would  also give strength

Whenever we think of him, immediately he will come,He will fill up ebery where

The one who is fire like face of sun in the sky, To those who chant , he will bless

Oh God  of devotees, Oh  God who gives  results Oh Sudarsanaa , Sudarsanaa

 

4.Pinikalai vendridum  Peru  maruthuvane

Pizhaikalai poruthiduvaai

Ani aniyaakave  Amudhinai  padaithom

Ayyane  undiduvaai

Manikalai  muzhakki  , manangalai  parappi,

Mandala dheepamittom

Kanithane  Devaa, gathi tharu  devaa

Sudarsanaa , Sudarsanaa

 

Oh great doctor who  wins over diseases, Please pardon our mistakes

Row by row  we prepared nectar  like food, Oh Lord please eat

 Ringing  the bells , spreading the smell, WE lighted  mandala lamps

Oh God  who calculates, Oh God who gives salvation, Oh sudarsana, Sudarsana

Arikinil  amarnthiduvai

Porul  alithiduvai, pugazh alithiduvai

Ponnudal  thanthiduvaai

Irul ozhithavane , isai  alithavane

Indru nee vanthiduvaai

Irudiyar devaa, ilangidu  devaa

Sudarsana, sudarsana

 

He who has  blessed  mind, He who belongs to Shiva and Vishnu, Please sit near by

Please  give wealth, Please give fame, Please give  a golden body

He who removed darkness, He  who gave music.please  come today

Oh God of sages, Please  shine of  God, Oh Sudarshanaa Sudarshaaa

 

6.Kavalaikal  theera  kaniyodu  vanthu,

 kan munne nindriduvai

Avalangal perukkum, ayarvukal koottum

Azhivinai  agathiduvai

Thava migu thvane, dhayai migu thavane

Thaliradi  thanthiduvai

Kavacha  nar thevaa, kanakane  devaa

Sudarsanaa  Sudarsanaa

 

For  ending worries, coming with fruits , stand in front  of our eyes

Increasing useless things, Increasing tiredness, Please  remove  destruction

Oh Saint with great penance, Oh saint  with kindness, Please  give us soft feet

Oh God with good armour, Oh God who shines like gols, Oh Sudarsanaa, Sudarsanaa

 

7.Vendiya  pothil vegamai  varuvai, vedhanai pokkiduvai

AAndida  Vendi aarvamai  vanthai, Aazhiyin thiru vadive

Thoondida  vendaa  Thooya  nal vilakke, thoomani kula makane

Kaandikar  devaa, kaar mazhai  devaa, Sudarsanaa, Sudarsana

 

At the times of need you will come fast and remove pain

To rule  , you came as sound(snake), Divine form of ocean

Oh very clean good lamp whose wick need not be pushed up, Oh son of gem pure gem like clan

Oh God of flame, Oh God of dense rain, On Sudrshanaa  Sudarshanaa
