1.Namosthu
theertha rajaaya, hari padabja
bhoothaye ,
Thwadhambovaham athmaanam
kshalayami praseedha may
Salutations to
the king of sacred waters, who
emanated from the feet of Vishnu,
Using your waters I am
washing myself, be pleased with me
2.Mahaa mangala
mathaa malayadhri cha samudhbhave,
Dhatum arhasi may theertham ajnana malinaapaham
Oh greatly
auspicious mother who arose from Malayadri mountains,
Consider me suitable
to give your sacred waters, so that
my ignorance can be washed away
3.Dharma dhravaa , bhagavathi , thamraa , Malaya nandhini
Paraaparaa, amruthasyandhaa thejishtaa , karma nasini
River whose water
is Dharma, Who is goddess , who is of copper colur and daughter of Maya mountains
River who is greatly divine, who secretes amrutha(nectar) who shines and who destroys
past karma.

Ye padanthi janaa bhathyaa theshaam
mukthi kare sthithaa
