Neyathinkara Kannaa , nin munniloru
Nei vilakkakatte yende janmam
Kanninnu kannaya unnikku thiru mumbil
Karpooramaaktte , yende janmam
Oh Krishna of Neyyathinkara, in front of you
May my life become a ghee lamp
Before the divine darling of darling Kanna
May my life become a camphor
Omkaram muzhankunna paikkale meikkuvaan
Oro manassilum nee varunnu
Ninde pullankuzhal paattil prapancham
Nandini pasuvai theerunnu
For herding the cows, making sound om
You are coming in to each mind
The world hearing the song of your flute
Becomes the cow Nandini
Akidu churathumen jeevannu nee Moksha
Karukanaambekumo kanna
Kayambu thozhum mukil vrnaa
To my soul which gives milk , would you,
Grant the karambu of salvation oh Krishna
Oh Cloud like Krishna who is saluted by Kayampoo(violet flowers)
Govardhanmayi manninde dukham
Nin viral thumbaal uyarthnnu
Ni nde mandasmitha kuliril prapancham
Nithya vasanthamayi theerunnu
Thozhuthu nilkunnori jeevannu nee oru
THiru velicham tharu, kanna , Thara tharithal kannaa
You are lifting the sorrow of earth as Govardhana
By using tip of your fingers
In the cold of your slow smile , this world
Becomes the forever spring
To this soul who stands saluting you, you please,
Give a divine lightOh Krishna,With eyes like petal of lotus
