ന്നടിതൊഴുന്നു ഞാനിതാ!

 

Uraga malya  bhooshithaa

Vrishabha  vahana shivaa

Achala , Parvatheesa nin

Adi  thozhunnu  jnana ithaa

 

He who decorates  himself with snake  garland

Oh Shiva   who rides on Ox

He whodoes not move , Lord of Parvathi

I am saluting   your feet

 

ചുടലഭസ്മലേപിതാ!

മദനനിഗ്രഹാ! പരാ!

അമര! ചന്ദ്രശേഖരാ!

തുണയെനിക്കു നീ സദാ!

 

Chudala Bhasma  lepithaa

Madhana nigrahaa  Paraa

Amara! Chandra sekhara

THuna yenikku nee sadhaa

 

He who applies ash of cremation ground on body

Divine one who killed  God of Love

He who is deathless, He who wears the moon

You are my companion always

സകലലോകനായകാ!

അനലനേത്ര! ശങ്കരാ!

ദുരിതനാശകാ!തൊഴാം!

Duritha Nasaka kai thozhaam

 

He who has skin applied with sandal paste

The lord  of all the worlds

He who has fire producing  eye, Oh Sankara

Oh destroyer  of suffering, I salute you

 

തടിനിയേന്തിടും ശിര-

സ്സതിലൊളിക്കു ചന്ദ്രികാ-

സ്മിതമണിഞ്ഞ ശർവ്വ! നി-

ന്നരികിലെന്നെ ചേർക്കണേ!

 

Thadini yenthidum sira-

Ssthhil olikku   chandrikaa

Smitha maninja sarvaa  nin

Arukil yenne  cherkkana

 

On your head  which lifts  the river

The  crescent  of moon  is hiding

Oh God whio wears  a laugh,

Please  allow me  near you

 

പരമഭക്തിയോടെ ഞാൻ

വ്രതമെടുത്തിടാം ശിവാ!

സദയമേകണേ ഭവാ!

വരമെനിക്കു നീ മുദാ!

 

Parama  bakthiyode jnan

Vritham yedutheedaam Shivva

Sadhayam yekane Bhavaa

Varamenikku  nee mudhaa

 

I with very  great devotion

Will undertake penance  oh lord Shiva

You should  immediately give

With joy  a boon, oh god

 

പശുപതേ! ജപിച്ചിടാം,

നമഃശിവായ ഞാൻ സദാ!

സകലപാപനാശകാ!

കൃപതരേണമേ,യജാ!

 

Pasupathe  japivhedaam

Namashivaaya  jnana Sadhaa

Sakala paapa Nasaka

Krupa   tharename yajaa

 

Oh  Lord Pasupathi, I will chant

Alwanys  “Nama Shivaya”

Oh destroyer  of all sins

Oh lord please  give me mercy

ഹര!ഹരാ! നിരാമയാ!

മൃതിതടുക്കണേ! ഹരാ!

യമനുകാലനാം പരാ!

Mruthi thadukkane, Haraa

Yamannu  kalanaam paraa

 

Oh Shiva, Oh Shiva, doer of the good

Oh Hara Oh Hara, the untainted one

Pleasestop the death, Oh Haraa

Oh divine one who was killer of Godof death

 

തവപദം മുകർന്നിടാ-

നടിയനിന്നു കൂവള-

ത്തിലകണക്കെ വീണിതാ!

തവകടാക്ഷമേകണേ..

Kanakke Venithaa

Thava  kadaksham yekane

Feet today, Like the bilwa tree

I am falling down
