അമ്പാടിയോമന ചാരെ വന്നു

ഇമ്പമോടമ്മമടിയിലേറി.

 

Ambadi omana  chaare  vannu

Inbamodu  amma  madiyileri

 

The darling of Gokula  came nearby

And sweetly climbed  in to lap of his mother

 

ആലിലക്കുമ്പയിൽ ഉണ്ണിയ്ക്കിന്നു

ചെമ്പാവു ചോറുമുരുട്ടിയേകാം.

 

Aalila kumbayil unnikkinnu

Chempavu   choru  urutti yekaam

 

In a large spoon made of Banyan today,

Red rice  can be  rolled  and given

 

സ്നേഹമാം നെയ് കൂട്ടിയുണ്ണൂ കണ്ണാ

മുല്ലപ്പൂ പോലെ വെളുത്തിടേണ്ടേ?

 

Ssnehamaam nei kootti unnu kannaa

Mullappoo  pole  veluthidende?

 

Oh Krishna  eat ir mixing with the ghee  called love

Should  you not become  white like  jasmine flower?

 

ചെല്ലക്കിളിയുടെ പാട്ടിലാടി

കൊഞ്ചിക്കുഴഞ്ഞങ്ങു വാ തുറക്കൂ.

 

Chella  kiliyude paattil aadi

Konji kuzhanjangu  vaa thurakku

 

Playing to the  song of  the pet bird

Open your mouth melting  and lisping

 

ഉണ്ണിഗണപതിയുണ്ടടുത്ത്

കണ്ണേറുതട്ടാതെ കാത്തിരിപ്പൂ

 

Unni Ganapathu yundaduthu

Kanneru  thattathe Kathirippoo

 

The Ganesa  is near by

ഇഞ്ചിത്തൈരുപ്പേരി കൊണ്ടാട്ടവും

അഞ്ചിതമോടമ്മ വായിലേകാം.

 

Inji thayir upperi  kondattavum

Anjithamodamma vaayilekaam

 

Ginger curd ,vegetable side dish and chips,

മാമ്പഴക്കാളനാം കാരുണ്യത്തെ

മാലോകർക്കൊക്കെയും തുഷ്ടിയേകാം

Malokarkku  okkeyum thushti yekam

 

The mercy  like  the mango fruit Kalan

WE  will give to make all the  world happy

 

മാധവനോമനേ, ഉണ്ണൂ നന്നായ്

മധുര്യമേകി വളർന്നിടേണ്ടേ.

 

Madhavanomane unnu  nannayi

Maadhuryameki  valarnnidande

 

Darling Madhava , eat well

Should you  not sweetly  grow up

 

ഓജസ്സതേകുമാം ഓമലേ നീ

ഓലനും കൂട്ടി മാമമുണ്ണൂ   കണ്ണാ...

OLanum kootti  maamunnu

പിഞ്ചിളം വായൊന്നെരിഞ്ഞിടാതെ

തേൻപോലൊരുമ്മയുമൊപ്പം നൽകാം.

 

Pinchilam vaaya onnarinjidathe

Then poale oru ummayoppam nalkaam

 

Without your tender  young mouth knowing

എള്ളുണ്ട, പായസം, പപ്പടവും

വെള്ളോട്ടു കിണ്ണത്തിൽ വാമഭാഗേ

 

Ellunda , payasam, pappadavum

Vellottu kinnathil  vama  bhage

 

SEasame ball sweet , keer and papads

Are on the left side of your white  bell metal plate

 

പൂവട, നെയ്യപ്പം തന്നിടാനായ്

രാധാസഖിയുമുടനെയെത്തും.

 

Poovada , neyyappam thannidaanaayi

Radha sakhiyum udane yethum

 

To put the flower like vada and B Neyyappam

അമ്മേടെ മുത്തിനു മാമമേകി കൊഞ്ചുന്ന

കണ്ണനെ ചേർത്തു പുൽകി
