കേശവ മാധവ ദേവകിനന്ദനാ

ഗോപാല ഗോവിന്ദ നാരായണാ

ദാമോദര ഹരേ മുരളീധരാ

സച്ചിദാനന്ദ ലോകനാഥാ

 

Kesava , Madhava  , devaki nandanaa

Gopalaa Govinda  Narayanaa

Damodaraa Hare Muralidharaa

SAchidanandha  loka Nadha

 

Hey Kesava, Madhava , son of devaki

Hey Gopala, Govindaa Narayana

Hey Damodaraa , Hare,one who lifts  the flute

Oh divine joy  , Lord   of the world

 

കൃഷ്ണാ ഞാനെൻ്റെ

അന്ത്യത്തിൽ നിന്നുടെ

തൃക്കഴലിണ ചേരുവാനായ് ഹരേ,

നിത്യവും തവ നാമത്തിനാലെന്റെ,

ചിത്തത്തെ നിന്നോടു

ചേർത്തു ഞാൻ വച്ചിടാം.

 

Krishnaa jnaan yende

Andhyathil ninnude

Trikuzhal ina  cheruvanai  hare

Nithyavum thava namathinaal  yende

Chithathe ninoodu

Cherthu jnaan vachidaam

 

Oh Krishna , at the time of my death

For joining  as  the friend,

Of   your divine  flute

Daily by your  names,

I will keep my mind

Always  with your flute

 

ദേഹബോധമുദിക്കുന്ന നേരത്തും,

സ്നേഹപാശം മുറുകുന്ന നേരത്തും,

ഏകബന്ധുവാം ഉണ്ണിശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ,

പുഞ്ചിരിയെന്നുടെ ചിത്തം കവരണം.

 

DEha bodham  udhikkunna  nerathum

Sneha pasam  murukunna  nerathu,

Yeka  bandhuvaam unni Sri  Krishnande

Punchiriri yennude  chitham Kavaranam

 

At the  time when the thought  of our body rises

At the time  when the friendshio  becomes very strong

The smile  of my ony  relation  Sri Krishna

Should   steal my mind

 

കണ്ണനാടിയ സുന്ദരലീലകൾ,

കണ്ണടയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ കാണുമാറാകണം.

കണ്ണന്റെ നാമാമൃതം എൻ്റെ

കർണ്ണവിശപ്പിനെ മാറ്റീടണം.

 

Kannan aadiya  sundara  leelakal

Kannu adaykumbol kanumaarakanam

Kannande  nama amrutham yende

Karna visappine  maatreedenam

 

The pretty  sports  that  Krishna played,

Should be visible  when my eyes  close

The nectar like name  of Sri Krishna,

Should satisfy  the hunger  of my eyes

 

നാവിനു ഗതി നാമത്തിലാകണം,

നാമിയെന്നുടെ മാനസേ വാഴണം.

നാസികയെപ്പോഴും അർച്ചനാപുഷ്‌പങ്ങൾ

വാസനിച്ചീടുവാൻ മാത്രമായീടണം.

 

Naavinnu  gathi  naamathilaakanam

Naami yennude maanase   vaazhanam

Naasika  yeppozhum archana pushpangal

Vaasanicheeduvaan Maathram maathramaayidenam

 

The route that the toungue takes  should be his  name

The person of that name ahould always li

The nose  should  should only  smell the ,

Scent of flowers used  to worship him

 

എന്തുതന്നെ ഭവിക്കിലുമൊക്കെയും,

എന്റെ കണ്ണൻ തരുന്ന പ്രസാദമായ്,

ഏറിയമോദാലേറ്റു കൊണ്ടീടുവാൻ,

ഏകണം ആ വരം കൃഷ്‌ണാ എനിക്കു നീ.

 

Yenthu thanne   bhavkkilum  okkeyum

Yende Kannan tharunna prasadhammayi

Yeria  aamodhaal yetru konddevaan

Yekanam aavaram Krishna  yeniku nee

 

Oh Krishna you should  give me  the boon of thinking

That  whatever happens  , all that,

Are  the blessings  that you have  given me

And I should be able to take them with great  joy

 

ദുഖഭയഹാരക ലോകൈകരക്ഷകാ

ഭക്തവത്സല പരമദയാലോ

ആനന്ദരൂപ അമൃതസ്വരൂപാ

അച്യുത അനന്ത ഗോവിന്ദ ഹരേ

 

Dukha bhaya  haaraka lokaika  rakshakaa

Baktha vathsala,parama  dhayalo

AAnanda roopa, Amrutha  swaroopa

Achuyutha Anantha  Govinda Hare

 

The one who destroys  fear of sorrow, the  protector of the entire world

The one  who is dear to his devotes, one with very great mercy

The one with form of joy, The one who  has nectar like form

Oh Achyutha , Oh endless one,Oh Govinda OH Hari

 

ഈവിധമെന്റെ മർത്ത്യജന്മത്തിനാൽ,

ഈ ഭവാർണ്ണവം വേഗം കടക്കുവാൻ,

ഇമ്പമേറുന്ന തൃക്കൺ കടാക്ഷത്താൽ,

തമ്പുരാനേ!അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചീടണേ.

 

Yee vidham yende  marthya janmathinaal

Yee bhavarnavam vegam  kadakkuvaan,

Imbam yerunna trikkan kadakshathaal

Thamburaane Anugrahichidene

 

Like this due  to birth  as human being

To cross this ocean of samasara very quickly(get salvation)

Oh lord by   your   sight   which increases  happiness
