1.  விழுப்புரத்தி லுதித்தகுரு சகலசித்தி முனிவர்என

     துளத்திலுறை கடுத்தவலி தகர்த்தருளுந் தேவா  !!

 

(அருள்வதற்காகவே அவதரித்தவராச்சே!)

 

Vizhupurathil udhitha guru, sakala  Sidhi munivar ,

Yenathullathil urai , kadutha vali thakartharulum  devaa

 

The  guru who was born in Vizhupuram, a sage who had all the powers

Oh God  please powder  in to pieces the  pain in my mind

 

2. பசித்தழுத திருக்குழவி புசிக்கவொரு பெருத்தமுலை

      எடுத்தமுது அளிக்கவென உதித்தபதம் போற்றி!

(அவரே ஜகன்மாதாவான பராசக்தியாச்சே!)

 

2.Pasithu  azhutha thirukuzhavi pusikkavoru perutha mulai

Yeduthu amuthu alikkavena udhitha  padham pothri

(avare  Jagan mathaavaana parasakthiyaache)

 

Praise him who  when he saw  a baby  crying due to hunger

Ordered a lady with  huge  breasts to  give him food

(The great one himself , is he not the Parasakthi who is mother  of universe)

3.  பழத்தைஉடன் அடைந்துவிட நினைத்துமயில் தரித்துவகை

      சுழன்றுமனம் வெதும்பிமலை நிலைத்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(ஸ்ரீஸ்வாமிநாத குருபரனும் அவராச்சே!)

 

Pazhathai udan adainthu vida ninaithu  mayil tharithu uvakai

Chuzhandru manam vethumbhi  malai nilaitha padham pothri

(Sri  SWaminadha  guruparanum  Avaraache)

 

When the  peacock  saw  the fruit and wished  to have it immediately

And opened its wings  and started  dancing, , he  became  sad  and stopped on the mountain, Praise  his  feet

(Is  he not  divine  guru  swaminatha)

4.  பெருத்தஇடர் வளர்க்குமொரு அரக்கர்குண முடிக்கவென

      எடுத்தவொரு  படைக்கலமும் தொடுத்தபதம் போற்றி!

(மாயை எதுவென காட்டி நம்மை நல்வழிப் படுத்தும் நம் யுகத்துக் க்ருஷ்ணனும் அவர் தானே!)

 

Perutha idar valarkkumoru arakkar   guna  mudikkavena

Yedutha oru padaikalamum thodutha padham pothri

(mayai  yethuvena kaatti namai nalvazhi  paduthum  nam yugathu Kishnanum  Avar thane)

 

To end  the rakshasa  habit to  increase  very  great troubles

Praise  him , who sent  the weapon he  took

 

(he also  is lord Krishna, who showed  what is illusion and made  us walk the right  path)

 

5.   இருக்குமிடம் உரைத்திடென அரக்கனவன் சினக்கமகன்

       குறித்தஇடம் வெடித்தவனை கிழித்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(அடியாரைக் காப்பதற்கெனவே அவதரித்த பெருமானும் அவரல்லவோ!)

 

Irukkum  idam uraithidena arakkan avan sinakka, makan

Kuritha  idam vedithu  avanai  kizhitha  padham pothri

(adiyaarai kaappatharkkenave avatharitha perumanum Avar  allavo)

 

When  the rakshasa like man got angry  and told , his son  to show it

Hail the feet who made the  pointed place and tore him

 

(Is he not the lord   who took incarnation to protect the devotees )

6.  அரக்கனது மனத்திமிரை அடக்ககரம் தழைத்துடலை

     சிறத்துஅடி பெருத்துவகை அளந்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(வாமனனாக வந்து உலகளந்தவராச்சே!)

 

Arakkanathu  mana thimirai adakka karam thazhaithu udalai

Chirathu adi peruththu   uvakai alantha padham pothri

(Vaamanannaka   vandhu ulakalanthavar  aache)

 

To destroy  the mental  pride of Rakshasa, extending his arm

And dwarfing his body, becoming happy  , he measured the worlds-Hail that feet

 

(Is he  not one who came as Vamana  and measured  the world)

7.   கறுத்தமன மொருத்திசொல சிரித்துமனை விடுத்தவுணர்

      குலத்தையற முடிக்கவென கடிந்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(கலியுகத் தெய்வமும் அவரல்லவோ!)

 

Karuthamanam oruthi  sola, chirithu mania viduthu avunar  kulathai

Ara  mudikkavena kadintha padham pothri

(kali  yuga deivamum avar allavo)

 

When with a lady  with black mind told, he laughed  and left  home

and  decided  completely put an end  to Rakshasa clan, Praise  his feet

(Is  he not  the  god of Kali  age)

8.   தனிப்பகடை உருட்டிமிக தொலைத்தமுடி கிடைக்கவென

       மறுத்தவரை திருத்தநடை நடந்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(உடனிருந்து வழி காட்டி வாழ்விக்கும் குருபரனாச்சே!)

 

Thani pakadai urutti miga tholaitha  mudi  kidaikkavena

Maruthavarai thirutha nadai nadantha  padham pothri

(udan irunthi vazhi kaatti vaazhvikkum guru paran aache)

 

When he  rolled the dice and lost  his crown, and did not like  to get back

The feet that walked  to correct him, Hail  that feet

(Is he not  the divine guru  who will be with you and show the way)

9.   விரித்தசடை வெளுத்தமதி குளிர்த்தமலை கிடக்கநடம்

       நடிக்கவென எடுத்துஜதி பிடித்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(நடராசன் போலே நடைராசனாய் நமக்குக் கிட்டியதோர் பொக்கிஷமாச்சே!)

 

Viritha  jadai , velutha mathi kulirtha nalai kidakka , nadam

Nadikkavenna yeduthu jathi piditha padham pothi

(Natarajan poale nadai  rajanai namakku kittiyathor pokkishamaache)

 

With dishevelled hair, white moon and cool mountain with him

Deciding act and  the  feet took  dancing steps  , hail

(Like  Nataraja , is  the waking king not  the   treasure we have got?)

10.   வெடித்துதடை கடித்துயமன் பிடித்தவனை அணைத்துஅருள்

         அளித்தவனை இழுத்தவனை உதைத்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(ப்ரத்யக்ஷ பரமேஸ்வர சசிசேகரனல்லவோ!)

 

Vedithu thadai kadithu yaman pidithavanai aNaithu arul

Alithavanai yizhuthavanai Udaitha  padham pothri

(prathyaksha  parameshwara Sasi Sekaran  allavo)

 

Blowing up , removing  the block in the way , hugging  the one caught  by Yama

Granting  him blessing and kicking  the one who dragged,  hail  his feet

(Is he  not real Lord shiva with moon’s crescent

11.  தளும்பியணை உடைத்துமடை பெருக்கியதை தடுக்கமணல்

        சுமந்துஅடி பொறுத்துநடை நடந்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(கடிது காலத்திலே துயர்துடைக்க வந்த அன்னதாதா அவர் தானே... தனுஷ்கோடி நிகழ்விலே ஐயன் தந்த உதவிக்கரம் மறக்கவும் இயலுமோ!)

 

Thalumbiya  anai udaithu, madai perukkiyathai  thadaukka, manal

Chumanthu , adi  poruthu nadai nadantha Padham pothri

(kadithu  kaalathile thuyar  thudaikka Vantha Anna dathaa avar thane, Dhanushkoti nigazhvinile ayyan thantha udhavikkaram Marakkavum iyalumo)

 

To stop  the flowing  water  when the barrage  broke, He

Carried  sand , was beaten but walked further hail  that feet

(the giver of  food who came to wipe away  tears in difficult times, Can we forget how that sage helped in the event at Dhanushkodi)

Note  The store Maha periyava giving a stock of rice  of Madam when  Dhanush kodi   was flooded

 

12.  தனஞ்சயனை எதிர்த்தவனை உடற்பொருது கொடுத்தஅடி

        பொறுத்துகணை கொடுத்தருளு மளித்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(காமகோடிக் கற்பகத் தாளோனுக்கு நிகரேதும் உண்டோ!)

 

Dhanjayanai yethirthavanai udar poruthu kodutha adi

Poruthu  kanai koduthu  arulum alitha  padham pOthri

(Kamkodi karpaka  thaalonukku nigarethum undo)

13.  சுழித்துநதி மிகப்பெருக பெரும்வயிறு துடித்தழுத

        கணத்திலுடன் சுகப்பிரசவ மளித்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(தாயுமான தயாபரனாய் நமைக் காக்கும் கருணாமூர்த்தியாச்சே!)

 

Kazhithu nad hi miga  peruke, perum vayiru thudithu azhutha

Kanathil udan Sukha prasavami alitha padham pothri

 

(thaayumaana dhayaa   paranaaoi namai kaakkum  karuna morthiyaache)

 

When the river to cross greatly flooded  and at the time when she  cried with ,

Pain in her  big belly, To the feet  which gave  immediate safe  delivery , victory

 

(The very great  merciful one  who also became  our mother and protected us, Is he not the very great  merciful one)

14.  திருப்பரதம் எனத்திகழும் சிறந்தநிலம் திருத்தவென

        மெலிந்தவுடல் வருத்ததினம் நடந்தபதம் போற்றி!

(நடைராசப் பெருமானாய் அடியவரைத் தேடி வந்து அருள்புரியும் தயாநிதியல்லவோ!)

 

Thiru  baaratham  yena thigazhum chirantha nilam THiruthavena

Melintha  udal  varutha  dhinam  nadantha  padham pothri

(nadai raja  perumanaai adiyavarai  thedi vanthu arul  puriyum Dhaya Nidhiyallavo)

 

To correct  the great  land  which  is called Divine  Bharatha

Making  his  thin body  suffer , daily he  walked  walk his feet , hail that feet

(becoming lord of walking , the one who walked  searching  his devotees and showed  his mercy, Is he  not treasure  of mercy)

15.  பெருங்கருணை அருள்மழையை நலிந்தவரும் அடைந்துயர

        அனுதினமும் நடந்துடலும் இளைத்தபதம் போற்றி!

 

(பஞ்சம் போக்கி பயனளித்த கற்பகத் தருவும் காமதேனுவும் அவராச்சே!)

 

Perum karunai  arul mazhayai nalinthavarum  adainthu  uyara

Anu dhinamum nadanthu  udalum ilaitha padham pothri

(Pancham pokki  payanalitha karpaka  tharuvum Kama dhenuvum  Avaraache)

 

To him who rained great  mercy and became  weak , For reaching God and becoming tall

Praise the feet of whom, who  got a thin body  by  daily   walking

(Was  he  not  the karpaka plant and Kama Dhenu who got rid of famine)

16.  சிறுத்தமதி கறுத்தமனம் மிகுந்தபகை அழித்தொளியை

        விதித்தருளை அளித்துலகை அணைத்த பதம் போற்றி!

 

(அஞ்ஞான இருளகற்ற வந்த ஞானப் பேரொளியாச்சே!)

 

Chirutha mathi , karutha  manam, mikuntha  pagai Azhithu  , oliyai

Vidhithu, arulai alithu ulakai  anaitha  padham pothri

(Akjnana    irulagatha Vantha jnana proliyache)

 

He  who removed small brain, black mind and  great enmity and fated,

Light , gave blessingsand hugged the world , Hail his feet

(is he not the great  wisdom who came to remove darkness of ignorance)

Note Mahaperiyava  is the great light who removed  darkness of ignorance
