Vishnu stotram

to Vishnu from Ananda Ramayana)
1.Namasthe Pundarikaksha, Namasthe Viswa bhavana
Namosthesthu Hrishi kesa, maha purusha
poorvaja
Salutations to the lotus
eyed one, salutation to one who has universal vision,
Salutations to one controls all his senses,to the great
purusha , who is earlier to all
2.Yenadhamakhilam jaatham
yasmin sarvam prathishtitham,
Layameshyathi yathrai thatham,
prapannosmi madhavam
He who created all the worlds like gold, , he who established all of them,
He in whom all these merge
at the end , To that Madhava, I
surrender
3,Na jananthi param
devam, Sarve Brahmadaya suraa,
Yogino yam prasamsanthi, Tham
vandhe jnana roopinam
All the devas as well as Brahma do not understand that divine God fully,
He who is praised by Yogis, I salute him who has form of wisdom
4.Anthareeksham thu yannabhir
dhaur, moordha yasya chaiva
hi,
Paadhadhabucha vai Pruthvi tham, vandhe viswaroopinam
He whose belly
is all space between heaven and earth and whose head is land of devas,
And whose feet
is the erarth , I salute
that God whose form is universe
5.Yasya srothre dhisa sarvaa yachakshur dhina kruchasi,
Rik sama yajusho yena tham vandhe
Brahma roopina
He whose ears
are all the directions, , whose eyes
are sun and moon
And from whom Rik , Yajur
and sama veda took birth , I salute that God who has form of Brahma
6. Yan mukhath Brahmana
jaathaa, yad bahor apabhavannu paa,
Vaisyaa
yasyaarutho jaathaa
padbhyaam soodrasthwajayatha
7.Mana schandramaa
jaatho dhinesa
chakshushasthadhaa
Praanebhya Pavano
jaantho mukhad agnirrajayatha
He from whose face
Brahmins were born , from whose
hand Kshatriyaas were born,
From whose
thighs Vaisyas were born,
from whose feet Sudhras
were born,
From whose
mind moon was born , From
whose eyes The
sun god was born,
From whose
soul wind was born, from
whose face fire
was born
8.Paapa samdhaha
maathrena vadanthi purusham thu
yam,
Swabhava vimalam
sudham nirvikaaram niranjanam
That Purusha who
is described as the destroyer of all
sins,
Who has a pure
character, who is beyond all feelings
and who is without any stains
9.Ksheerabdhi
Saayinam , devam anantham ,
aparaajitham,
Sath bhaktha vathsalam Vishnum bhakthi
gamyam Namamyaham
He who sleeps
in ocean of milkWho is god who is
endless, who cannot be defeated,
Who is dear to
true devotees, Who is Vishnu , towards
whom devotion goes, I salute him
10.Prithvyaadheeni bhoothaani thanmathraani indryani
cha,
Su sookshmaani cha yenaasamstham vandhe sarvathomukham
I salute he who
has several faces, in whom are entrusted
, the five elements like earth and
The subtle
elements like sound , touch, taste ,
smell and the senses of wisdom .
11.Yath Brahma paramam dhama, sarva lokothamothamam,
Nirgunam paramam
sookshmam , pranothosmi puna puna
That Brahmam which
is better than all worlds, which is a divine place,
Which does not have
characteristics, Divinely micro,
Is saluted by me again and again
12.Nirvikaram ajam
shudham sarvatho vahnimeeswaram,
Yamamananthi yogeendram
sarva karana karanam
13.Yeko vishnur
mahad bhootham pradak bhoothanekasa
THreen lokaan
Vyapya bhoothathmaa bungthe viswa bhugavyaya,
Nirguna
Paramananda sa may Vishnu
praseedathu
That Vishnu who is
emotion less , birth less , pure, spread
everywhere,
Which is described
as the cause of all causes by the great sages,
That Vishnu the
great element which was there before all elements,
Whose soul is
spread all over the three
worlds and is the soul of the
universe,
Who is without any characters and divinely happy, may be pleased with me
14.Hrudayasthopi
doorastho mayayaa mohithathmanam
Jnaneenam sarva
dharmasthu sa may Vishnu praseedathu
He who is in our heart but appears to be far off due to illusion,
And who is all the dharmas of the wise , let that Vishnu
be pleased with me
15.Chathurbhi chathurbhischa dwaaabhyaam
panchabhireva cha,
Hruyathe cha punar dwarbhyaam sa may vishnum praseedathu
That Vishnu who
is worshipped with great attention by
doing offering in fire
Four times, four times, twice, five times and
again double, May he be pleased
with me
16.Jnaaneenam karmaanaam chaiva thadhaa bakthimathaam nruaam
Gathi dathaa viswa bhugya sa may Vishnu
praseedathu
That Vishnu who
compensates the wise for their actions,
devotees for their devotion,
Evenly and
justly all over the world
, let him be pleased with me
17,Jagadhidartham yo deha
madho leelayaa Hari,
Yamarchayanthi vibudhaa sa may Vishnu
praseedathiu
That Hari who
takes various forms as sports for the
sake of the world,
And who is
worshipped by very wise people , let him be pleased with me
18.Yamamanathi vai santha sarvadhaa ananda vigraham,
Nirgunam cha
gunaadhaaram sa may Vishnu praseedathu
Let that Vishnu
who is saluted always by good people, who always has a joyful look,
Who does not have any character but is the basis of all characters, Let him be pleased with
me
19.Paresa ,
paramananda, parath para thara prabhu,
Chidroopascha parijneya sa may
Vishnu praseedathu
Let that Vishnu
who is divine God who is
divinely happy, The lord who is greater
than the greatest,
Who has the divine
form and who is the aim of all, Let him
be pleased with me
20.Ya idham keerthaye
nithyam stotraanam uthamo
uthamam,
Sarva papa nirmuktho, Vishnu loke maheyathe
If this prayer is
sung daily it is better than the best,
Removes all sins
and would take you to the world of Vishnu
