Om asya Sri Hanumath badavanala stotras mantrasya ,
Sri Ramachandra rishi , Sri Badavanala hanuman devatha , mama samastha roga prasamanartham , ayur arogya Aiswaryadhi abivrudhyartham , Samastha papa kshayartham , Seetha Rama chandra preethyartham Hanumath badavanala stotra japam ahangarishye.

Om for the chant of the sea fire like prayer addressed to Hanuman, , the sage is Sri Ramachandra, The God addressed is the sea fire Hanuman, And this is being chanted by me to cure all my diseases, for increase of longevity, heath and wealth , For destroying all sins committed and for pleasing Sri Ramachandra and we are proud to chant the forest fire like prayer to addressed to Hanuman.

Om Hraam, Hreem Om salutation to God , Oh great Hanuman who exhibits his valour , whose fame is spread in all places in all directions , Who makes everything whoite and is the heart of the world,

Chedhaya, chedhaya, maraya, maraya , soshaya soshya, mohaya, mohaya , jwalaya jwalaya , praharaya praharaya sakala mayaam bhedhaya.

Cut, cut, kill, kill , make weak, make weak , attrat, attract , burn , burn , beat beat, break all illusions.

(Prayer to the five Gods)

(The followers of Sankara worship five Gods viz Shiva, Parvathi, Vishnu, Ganesa and the Sun God. Here is a rare prayer addreesed to all of them.)

1.Ganesa Vishnu surya eesa dugakhyam deva panchakam,
Vandhe vishudha manasa jana sayujya dhayakam

I salute Ganesa, Vishnu , Sun God, Shiva and Durga,
Which uplift the pure minded devotees.

2.Yeka roopan , binna murthin , Pancha devan namaskruthan,
Vandhe vishudha bhavane eesa ambenaikaradha achyuthan.

They are same but look different and I salute those five Gods,
I salute with a pure mind Shiva, Amba, Sun God, Ganesa and Achyutha.

3.Kalyana dhayino devaan namaskaryan mahoujasa,
Vishnu, Shambhu shivaa, surya ganesakhyaan namamyaham.

I salute those great devas who grant auspiciousness,
I salute Vishnu , Shiva , Parvathi , Surya and Ganesa.

4.Yekathmano binna roopan , loka rakshana thath paraan,
Shiva Vishnu shivaa surya Heramban pranamamyaham.

They are one but have different forms and interested only in saving the world,
My salutations to Vishnu , Shiva , Parvathi , Surya and Ganesa.

5.Divya roopaneka roopan nana roopan namaskruthan,
Shiva Sankara Herambha Vishnu suryaan Namayaham.

The divine form is but one but they are saluted as different forms,
My salutations to Parvathi, sankara, Ganapathi ,Vishnu and Surya.

6.Nithyaan Ananda sandoha daayino , deena palakan,
Shivachyuth Ganesana durgharkyaan noumyaham suraan

My salutations to Shiva, Achyutha , Ganesa and Sun God,
Who daily showers me with groups of joy and
Is the one who looks after the oppressed.

7.Kamaneya thanoon devaan sevaa vasyaan krupavatha,
Sankarena sivaa Vishnu ganesaakhyaan Namamyaham

I salute Shiva , Parvathi, Vishnu , Ganesa and Sungod,
Who are all gods with pretty form and would be pleased by our service.

8.Soorya Vishnu sivaa sambhu vigna raja aabhidhaan suraan,
Yeka roopan sada vande sukha sandoha sidhaye,

By saluting always the unified forms of the Gods,
Sun God , Vishnu , Parvathi, Shiva, and Lord Ganapathi,
We would be blessed with heaps and heaps of pleasure.

9.Harou hare thesehnakare Ganese,
Shakthou ne bhedho jagadhadhi hethushu,
Adha pathathyesha bhidhaam dadhaano,
Bhashantha yevam yathyo achyuthasraya.

There is no difference between Vishnu, Shiva , Sun God, Ganesa,
And Goddess Parvathi who are the cause of this world,
But if we give different meanings to them,
We would be talking like saints who are dependent on Achuyutha.

(This is the prayer by several groups of the world addreesed to Lord Narasimha when he killed Hiranya Kasipu. This forms a part of the 8th chapter of the seventh dasaka of Srimad Bhagwatham. The next chapter is the Sthuthi by Prahlada himself. ).

Brahmo Uvacha:-
Brahma said:-

1.Namosthwnanthaya durantha sakthaye,
Vichithra veeryaya pavithra karmane,
Viswasya sarga sthidhi samyamaan gunai,
Swaleelayaa sandha dhadhe avyayathmane.

Salutations to the endless one , whose power can never be understood,
Who has very peculiarly rare valour and does only holy deeds,
Who does as if it is a play the creation, upkeep and destruction of the world,
And who has a form that is impossible to be destroyed.

Rudra Uvacha:-
Rudra told:-

2. Kopa kale yuganthasthe hatho yama surolpaka,
Thath sutham pahyupasrutham bhaktham they bhaktha vathsala.

Oh dear one of devotees , your anger lasts to several eons,
And you have killed this insignificant asura in great anger,
But please protect his son who is your great devotee.

Indra Uvacha:-
Indra said:-

3.Prathyaaneethaa parama bhavathaa thraayathaa na swabhaga,
Daithyakrantham hrudayakamalam thwad gruham prathabhodhi,
Kala grastham kiyadhidhamaho nadha susrooshathaam they,
Mukthi stheshaam nahi bahumathaa Narasimha paarai kim.

Oh divine God , The offerings to us were got back by you who has protected us
And our lotus like mind which was your home had become by great fear and constant thought,
The home of the asura and has now bloomed again and Oh Lord Narasimha,
To those who serve you , salvation is nothing great and is there need to talk of heaven and other gifts.

Rishi Uvacha:-
Sages said:-

4.Thwam na sthapa parama matha yadathma thejo,
Yenedhamaadhi purushatma gatham sasarjja,
Thad vipra luptha munaadhyaa sarnya pala,
Rakshaa graheetha vapushaa puranwa samsthaa.

Oh primeval one , this bad asura prevented us from doing,
That great penance which you had allotted to us ,
By which you created this universe which was within the soul,
But oh God who protects , due to your present act,
You again established that penance once again in this body.

Pithru Uvacha:-
The manes said:-

5.Sraadhaani nodhi bhub huje prasabham thanoojair,
Dathani theertha samaye apya pibathilambhu,
Thasyodharaa nnakha vidheernava padhya aarcha,
Thasmai namo nruharaye akhila dharma gopthre.

He who robbed us of the rice balls offered by our sons,
He who forcefully drank the gingelly mixed water offered during pilgrimages,
Was killed by you tearing his stomach by nails and taking out the intestines,
And you recovered the rice balls and gingelly mixed water, and you are,
The Narasimha who protects, the universal dharma and my salutations to you.

Sidha Uvacha :-
The Sidhas told:-

6.Yo na gathim yoga sidhama sadhu,
Raharasheedhyoga thapo balena,
Naanaa darpam thannakhai nirdha dhara,
Thasmai thubhyam pranathasmo nrusimha.

Oh Lord Narasimha , we salute you for,
You killed that very proud one by tearing his belly by your nails,
Because that very bad one stole from us , our occult powers,
Using the strength of the power of his yoga and great penance.

Vidhyadhara Uvacha:-
The Vidhyadharas told:-

7.Vidhyaam prudag dharana yanu radhdham,
Nyeshedagno bala veerya druptha,
Sa yena samkhye pasu vadha thastham,
Maya nrusimham pranathasthu nithyam.

That foolish denied to us the power to disappear,
Which we had got by special understanding,
And our daily salutations to that Maya Narasimha.
Who killed him like a cow in the war.

Naga Uvacha:-
The Nagas said

8.Yena papena rathnani , sthree rathnaani hruthani na,
Thadvaksha patanenaswam dathananda namosthuthe

That sinner stole from us our gems as well as our jewel like women,
And so our salutations to you who killed him by opening his chest.

Manu Uvacha:-
The Manus said:-

9.Manavo vayam thava nidhesa karino,
Dithijena deva pari bhoothatha sethava,
Bhavathaa khala sa upasamhrutha prabho,
Karavama they kamanusadhi kinkaraan.

Oh God,We Manus who obey your orders,
Were prevented from doing our ritual duties by this asura,
And now since you have killed this very bad person,
Please order us as to what we should do.

Prajapathi Uvacha:-
The Prajapathis said:-

10.Prajesa vayam they parishobhi srushtaa,
Nayena prajaa vai srujaamo nishiddhaa,
Sa yesha thwayaa binna vakshanusethe,
Jaganmangalam sathwamoorthevathara.

OH lord this asura prevented us from ,
Doing the job of creation , for which we were created,
And we were forced to stop that job,,
And he lies dead because you had broken his chest and killed him,
And Oh personification of truth , your this incarnation is for the good of the world.

Gandharwa Uvacha:-
Gandharwas told:-

11.Vayam vibho they nata natya gayaka,
Yenathmasadveerya baloujhasa krutha,
Sa yesha neetho bhavathaa dasaamimaam,
Kimuthpadastha kusalaya kalpyathe.

Oh Lord we are your actors , dancers and musicians,
But we were made to obey this asura by his valour and strength,
And now he has attained this very sorry state due to you.
Will good ever happen to the people who follow wrong path?

Charana Uvacha:-
Charanas said:-

12. Hare thavangri pankajam bhava papa varga masrithaa,
Yadhesha sadhu hruchayasthwayasuraa samapithaa.

Oh Lord Vishnu, we would be able live peacefully
By worshipping your lotus like feet which leads to salvation,
For this asura who always created fear among good people,
Has been killed by you , ending his acts.

Yaksha Uvacha:-
Yakshas said:-

13.Vayam anuchara mukhaa karmabhisthemanognai,
Stha iha dithi suthena prapitha vahakathwam,
Sa thu jana parithapam thath krutham janaathaa they,
Narahara upaneetha panchathaam panch vimsa.

Due to our good acts we are the chief of your servants,
And this very bad asura employed us to carry his palanquin,
And Oh Lord Narasimha who is the twenty fifth principle*,
You killed him having to know the troubles that he gave us.
*Nature , cosmic intelligence , ego, five subtle elements,
Ten indriyas, mind and five gross elements are the
Are the twenty four principles.

Kimpurusha Uvacha:-
Kim purusahas* said:-

14.Vayam kimpurushasthwanthu , maha Purusha Easwara,
Ayam kupurusho nashto dik krutha sadhubiryadhaa.

Oh Lord we are lowly people and you are the great one,
And when this bad one was cursed by us , he lost his life.

Vaithalika Uvacha:-
The court singers said:-

15.Sabhasu sathreshu thavamalam, yaso,
Geethwaa saparyaam mahatheem labhamahe,
Yasthaam vyanaisheeth brusameva durjano,
Dhishtyaa hathasthe Bhagawan yada maya.

By singing your holy fame in gatherings,
And in places where religious rites were carried out,
We usually were treated well and honoured,
And this bad one prevented us from doing it,
And lucky that he was killed , similar to curing of sickness.

Kinnara Uvacha:-
Kinnaras said:-

16.Vayam eesa , kinnara ganaasthavanugaa,
Dithijena vishtima munanukarithaa,
Bhavatha hare sa vrujinopasadhitho,
Narasimha nadha vibhavaya no bhava.

Oh God we are Kinnaras who are your servants,
And this asura made us work without any compensation,
Oh Narasimha , that bad one has been killed now by you,
Oh Lord, please bless us with plenty .

Vishnu Parshadha Uvacha:-
Attendents of Lord Vishnu told:-

17.Advaitha dhari nara roopam adbhutham they,
Drushtam na saranadha sarva loka sarma,
Soyam they vidhikara eesa, viprasaptha,
Sthasyesdhyam nidhana manugrahaya vidhmaa.

Oh God who is support to us who are your devotees,
This your wonderful form doing good to the entire world has been seen only now,
And this bad one who has been cursed by Brahmins is your servant,
And so we think that his killing is really a blessing to him.

(Neela Saraswathi or Blue Saraswathi is a form of Tara devi , a fierce form of the goddess. Some people refer to her as Nila devi, who is the third wife of Lord Vishnu. The ritual to please her is described in

1.Ghora roope maharave , sarva shathru bhayangari,
Bhakthebhyo varade devi thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you ,
Oh Goddess with fierce form and great sound,
Who is fearful to all the enemies ,
And who blesses all her devotees.

2.Surasurarchithe devi, sidha Gandharva sevithe,
Jadya papa hare devi, thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Oh Goddess worshipped by devas and asuras,
Who is served by Sidhas and Gandarwas,
And who destroys all accumulated sin.

3.Jatajuta samayukthe lola jihwantha karini,
Drutha budhikare devi, thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Who is with tied matted hair,
Who ends darkness created by unstable toungue,
And who makes our brain work very fast.

4.Soumya krodha dhare roope , chanda munda namosthuthe,
Srushti roope namasthubhyam, thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Who has the form of anger as well as placid nature,
And who is worshipped by Chanda and Munda,
My salutations to her who has form of creation.

5.Jadaanaam jadathaam hanthi , bhakthaanaam bhaktha vathsala,
Moodathaam hara may devi, thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Who destroys idiots as well as idiocy,
And who is very dear to her devotees,
Please destroy my foolishness, oh Goddess.

6. Vam hroom hroom kamaye devi , bali homa priye nama,
Ugra thare namo nithyam , thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Who likes the chant “Vam hroom hroom”,
Salutations to her who likes sacrifices and offerings in fire,
I salute daily the fierce Tara devi.

7.Budhim dehi, yaso dehi , kavithwam dehi dehi may,
Moodathwam cha harer devi, thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Give me wisdom , fame and ability to write poems,
And please destroy the foolishness in me.

8.Indradhi vilasad dwanda vandhithe karunamayi,
Thare tharathi nadhasye , thrahi maam saranagatham.

Help me who surrenders to you,
Who is saluted by Indra and others as couple ,
Who is merciful , Tara and the lord who rules as Tara.

9.Idham stotram padesdhyasthu sathatham sradhayonvitha,
Thasya Shathru kshayam yathi Maha pragnaa prajayathe.

If this prayer is read regularly with utmost devotion,
His enemies would be destroyed and he would become greatly learned.

(Tara meaning “Star” is the second among the dasa maha vidhyas . Since she is considered as a mother, the Thanthrics believe that she is easily approachable. Most of her followers do not see her different from Goddess Kali. Unlike Kali , she holds in her hand skull, flower sword and a pair of scissors. There is a great temple dedicated to her in Tarapith , Bengal. She also has a temple in Ghatagaon, near Bhubaneswar in Orissa. She is also called “Neela SaraswathI”. Some people believe that Bhagalamukhi is her external manifestation.Here is a very rare octet addressed to her from a book called “Neelathanthra”)


1.Mathar neela Saraswathi pranamatham Soubhagya sampath pradhe,
Prathyaa leeda pada sthithe shiva hrudhi smerana nambhoruhe,
Phullendheevara lochana thraya yuthe karthree kapalothphale,
Gadganjaadha dhathee thwameva saranam , Thwaam easwareem asraye.

Salutations to mother Saraswathi who is of blue colour, who grants all luck and wealth,
Who sits in the heart of Shiva in prathyaleeda* pose, who has a smiling face ,
Who has three eyes similar to the fully open blue lotus flowers, who is the one who does,
And who wears skull , lotus and sword , you are my only hope and so I surrender to you, Oh Goddess.
*Sitting on a dias folding the left leg and leaving free the right leg.

2.Vachameeswari , bhaktha kalpa lathike , sarvartha sidhi pradhe,
Gadhya praakrutha padhya Jatha rachanaa sarvaswa sidhi pradhe,
Neelendhivara lochana thraya yuthe , Karunya varanidhe,
Souubhagya amrutha varshanena kkrupayaa sincha thwamasma drusam.

Oh goddess of words, wish giving tree to devotees, the giver of all wealth and power,
Who gives ability to create all types of literary works in prose and poems,
Who has three eyes which are like the blue lotus flowers, who is sea of mercy,
Please kindly make me wet with the rain of the nectar of great luck.

3.Sarve garva samooha poorutha thano sarpadhi veshojjwale,
Vygra thwak pariveetha Sundara kati vyadhootha gandangithe,
Sadhya krutha galadhraja parimalanmunda dwayee moordhaja,
Grandhee sreni nrumunda dhama lalitha bheeme bhayam nasAYA.

Goddess of all with a body filled with groups of pride, who shines due to ornaments like snake,
Who decorates her pretty hip with hide of tiger and also ringing bells,
Who gets decorated by the garland made out of tyinn the hairs,
Of two freshly cut blood drenched heads, Oh macro goddess, destroy my fear.

4.Mayananga vikara roopa lalanaa bindwardha chandrathmike,
Hoom phatkara mayee thwameva saranam manthrathmike maadrusaam,
Moorthisthe janani thridhama gatitha sthooladhi sookshmaa paraa,
Vedhaanam nahi gocharaa kadamapi prapthaam thamasraye.

Oh goddess who has a form that is the combination of Maya bheeja,
And root letters like “Hum phat”, to me you are the only place of surrender,
Oh mother your body is made of made of the trinity names brahma, Vishnu and shiva,
And even that form of yours is gross, micro and also divine ,
And this form is not understood by the Vedas and I surrender to that form which I have got.

5.Yath padambhuja sevaya sukrthino gachanthi sayujyatham,
Thasya sthree parameswari trinayana bramadhi samyathmana,
Samsarambhudhi majjane patu thanudevendra mukhyaan suraan,
Matha twath pada devane hi vimukho yo mandhadhee sevathe.

You are the consort of Lord Parameshwara by serving whose lotus like feet,
Good people attain salvation and who splits in to the forms of Shiva and Brahma,
And he who serves Devendra and others who are not interested in worshipping you,
And spent their time in the sea of materialism is a real fool.

6.Matha sthwath pada pankaja dwaya raja mudhrangakodeerina,
Sthey devaa jayasangare vijayino nisseshamange nissange mange kathaa,
Devoham bhuvanenamay sama ithi spardham vahantham pure.
Thathulyam niyatham yada surbherame nasam vrujanthi swayam.

Oh mother without any doubt, the devas killed their enemies in war,
Due to the dust of your lotus like pair of feet touching their crowns,
And those devas shine in this world without any equal because of it,
And others destroy themselves thinking that no one is equal to them.

7.Thwannama smaranath palaayanaparaa drushtum cha saktha na they,
Bhootha pretha pisacha Rakshasa ganaa yakshancha naagadhipaa,
Daithya dhanava pungavascha khacharaa vyagradhikaa janthavo,
Dakinya kupitha anthakascha manujam matha kshanam bhoothale.

Without being even able to see those who meditate on you ,
Ghosts, dead souls , devils , groups of Rakshasas , Yakshas , nagas,
Asuras , great dhanavas ,evil spirits who travel in the sky ,
Dakinins and the very angry killers run away speedily from them.

8.Lakshmi sidha ganancha paduka mukhaa sidhisthadhaa varina,
Sthambaschapi ranangane gaja gataa sthambhasthadhaa mohanam,

Oh Goddess , by the service of your feet man as per his desire gets,
Wealth , power to travel in sky , magical powers ,
Power to stop water , power to control elephants, attracting the world,
And he gets prettiness of god of love and even a fool gets mastery over knowledge.

9. Tharashtakamidham ramyam bhakthiman ya paden nara,
Prathar madhyahna kale cha Sayahna niyatha suchi

10. Labhathe kavithaam divyaam sarva Sasthra vidh bhavedh,
Lakkshmee naswaraam prapya bhukthwa bogaan yadhepsithaan,

11. Keerthim kanthim cha nairujyam sarveshaam priyathaam vrajeth,
Vikhyathim chapi lokeshu prapyanthe mokshamapnuyath.

If a man who is a devotee reads this pretty octet of Tara daily,
After purification in the morning, non and evening,
He would become a divine poet , he would understand all Sasthras,
He would get wealth which is permanent and enjoy all the pleasures he desires.
He would get fame , handsomeness and would be liked by everyone,
And his fame will spread all over the world and at the end he would get salvation.

Ithi Neela thanthre Tarashtakam sampoornam
Thus ends the octet on Tara occurring in Neelathantha.

1.Om Jai Laxmi Mata
Uma Rama Brahmaani, Tum ho Jag Mata,
Maiya, Tum ho Jag Mata,
Surya ChanraMa dhyaavat, Naarad Rishi gaata.

You are Parvathi , Lakshmi , Saraswathi, the mother of the world,
Oh mother, you are the mother of the world,
Son and moon pray to you, sage Narada sings about you.

2.Durga Roop Niranjani, Sukh Sampati Data,
Maiya Sukh Sampati Data
Jo koyee tumko dhyaataa, Ridhee Sidhee dhan paataa
Om Jai Laxmi Mata.

Oh birth less one, who takes the form of Durga, who gives pleasure and wealth,
Mother who gives pleasure and wealth,
He who meditates on you would get prosperity , power and wealth,

3.Jis ghar mein tu rehtee, sab sukh guna aataa,
Maiya sab sukh guna aataa,
Taap paap mit jaataa, Man naheen ghabraataa.

The house where you live would get all pleasures,
Mother they would get all pleasures,

4.Dhoop Deep phal meva, Ma sweekaar karo,
Maiya Ma sweekaar karo,
Gyaan prakaash karo Ma, Moha agyaan haro.

Mother accept incense, light , fruits and sweets,
Mother please accept,
Make my intelligence bright , mother kill passion and ignorance ,
Om victory to mother Lakshmi.

5.Maha Laxmiji ki Aarti, jo gaavey
Maiya nis din jo gaavey,
Uraananda samata, paap uttar jata.
Om Jai Laxmi Mata.

He who sings this prayer song of mother Lakshmi,
And daily if he sings it,
The happiness and contentment will increase and sins would be destroyed.

Hara Vishnu vidathaa

Victory to mother Lakshmi,
Victory to mother goddess Lakshmi,
Vishnu and Shiva pray to you day and night daily.

2.Brahmani, Rudarani kamala,
Thoo hee hai jaga mathaa,
Surya chandrama dhyavatha ,
Narada rishi gatha.

You are the consort of Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu ,
You are the mother of the universe ,
Sun God and moon God pray to you
And sage Narada sings about you.

3.Durgaa roopa niranthara ,
Suka sampathi dathaa,
Jo koi thumko dhyavataa,
Ridhi sidhi dhan pathaa

You always have the form of Durga
You give comforts and wealth,
And to him who prays to you,
You grant prosperity , power and monetary wealth.

4.Thu hi hai patala basanthi,
Thu hi shubha dathaa,
Karma prabhava prakasaka,
Jaga nidhi ke trathaa

You only live in the land of Patala ,
You are the one who gives good things,
You glorify the results of Karma ,
And you are the protector of worldly wealth.

5.Jis ghar mein thu rahthi ,
Saba sadguna aatha ,
Kar sake koi kar le ,
Mana nahi gabaratha

In the home where you live ,
All good characters subsist ,
And there people would do what they can,
Without their mind getting afraid.

6.Thuma bin yagya na hove,
Vasthra na koi patha,
Khana paana ka vaibhav,
Saba thum say hi aatha.

Without you no sacrifice can be performed,
And without you one does not get cloths ,
And also money for eating and drinking ,
For all these come from you.

7.Shubha guna mandhira Sundara ,
Ksheerodhadhi jaathaa,
Ratana chathurdasa thum hi ,
KOi nahi patha.

Oh Goddess born out of milk ocean,
Oh pretty temple of all virtues,
You are the fourteen types of precious gems,
Which no one else has got.

8.Aarthi Lakshmi ji kee,
Jo koi nara gatha,
Ura ananda umanga aathi,
Papa Uthara jathaa.

To the man who sings,
This aarthi of Goddess Lakshmi,
Joy and ebbing happiness will result ,
And all his sins would be pardoned.

(Prathyangira devi is also known as Atharvana Bhadra Kali and also as Narasimhika devi. There are various stories about her origin. It seems after Lord Nrasimha killed Hiranyakasipu, his anger grew unboundedly. The devas tried all their best to calm him down . When Prahlada and Goddess Lakshmi were not able to pacify him(Many people believe that they individually were able to pacify him), , Lord Shiva took the incarnation of Sharabha deva a mixture of man, lion and eagle. He also failed. Then Goddess Parvathi appeared from the ferocious eyes of Sharabha deva) with 1008 heads and 2016 hands and roared ferociously. This pacified Lord Narasimha. Other believe that Goddess Lakshmi took a form of woman lion and(also called Prathyangira) and pacified him.
This stotra is addressed to Prathyangira devi requesting her grace to kill our enemies. Please do not chant this Manthra without getting it from a Guru. It is believed that if it is not done that way, such trials would lead to very horrible effects. The Hindi version of this great manthra is given in

Please shower your grace on me, Oh Bhadarakali,
Who is armed with sword. Skull, drum and trident,
Who shines with the crescent on her head,
Who has red hair standing erect on her head,

For the chant of The Vipareetha prathyangira,
The sage is Bhairava, meter is anushtup , Goddess addressed is Vipareetha Prathyangira

Mama abheeshta sidhyarthe jape cha pate cha viniyoga

This chant is being done to fulfill my desires.
