(Dhandha  Devi is the thanthric form of Goddess  Lakshmi  .Chanting this Kavacha  three times a day for  36 days  is supposed to please  Goddess Lakshmi   and increase   your wealth. Dhanadhaya   maha vidhyaa   kadithaan  prakasithaa ,

Idhaneem srothumichami    Kavacham poorva soochitham

The Goddess  asked:-

1.The great knowledge  of Dhandha devi    has been  earlier  made public ,

And I wish to hear  that Armour as indicated by  you  earlier.

Sri Shiva Uvacha  :-

2.Srunu  Devi pravachami   kavacham   manthra vigraham,

Saarath saratharam   devi  kavacham  man mukhditham,

3.Dhanadhaa  kavachasyasyaa   Kubhere   Rishir itha  ,

Panditha chandhi   devathecha  Dhanadhaa   sidhidhaa  sadaa

Lord Shiva said:-

2-3.Oh Goddess Please hear   the armour  which I would be reciting ,

Which is a personification of Manthra,

Which is meaning  of Meanings  .

For the armour of giver of wealth  , Khubera  is  the sage  ,

The Meter is Panditha  , The Dhanadha is the  God addressed for  powers.

4.Dharmartha kama   moksheshu   viniyoga prakeerthathe  ,

,Dham bheejam   may Sira pahi  , Hreem bheeja,   may lalatakam,

4.For the sake of getting Dharma  , wishes and salvayion, I start  the chant.

The the root “Dham “ protect my head . Let the root “Hreem” protect my forehead ,

5. Sreem bheejam   may  mukham pathu, rakaram hrudhi may aavathu.

THikaram pathu jataram  Prikaram  Prushtatho aavathu

5.Let the root “Sreem”  protect my face  and let letter  “ra”  protect my heart.,

Let letter  “Thi” protect  my stomach    and letter “Pri” protect my back.

6.Yekaaram   jangayor yugme  ,swakaaram prushtthovathu,

Seershadhi   padha paryantham   ha kaaram sarvatho avathu.

6,Let the letter “Ye” protect both my thighs , Let letter “swa” protect my back,

Let letter “Ha” protect me   from head to foot.

7.Ithyeythath kaditham  Kanthe  kavacham sarva sidhidham,

Guroomamyarchya   vidhivath  kavacham prapadedhyadhi

7.This oh my darling   is the armour   which will give all powers,

You now worship your teacer  and  read the  armour again as per rule,

8,Satha varsha sahasraanaam    poojaaya  phalamapnuyath,

Guru poojaam   vinaa devi   nahi sidhi poojapathe.

8.You would also get   the  result of worship done for  hundred thousand years,

And Oh Goddess , without the woship of Guru , the goddess of worship would not allow  you  to get powers.

9.Guru  pooja puro bhoothva   kavacham   prapadethama  ,

SArva sidhi   yuthor bhoothwa   vicharau  dwairavo  yadhaa

9.After completing the worship of the Guru    the armour has to be chanted properly,

After getting all the powers  , the thoughts   have to be repeated   twice,

10.Pratha kale padedhyasthu   manthra jaapa    pura saram,

So abheeshta   phalamapnothio, sathgyam sathyam na samasyaya.

10.It is without any doubt whatsoever   the truth   that  all desires  would be fulfilled ,

If this is read    in the morning along with the chanting of the  manthra.

11.Poojakale padedhyasthu   devim dhyathwa   Hrudhyambuje ,

Shan masabhyanthare  sidhi nathra   karya vicharana,

11.If this is read at the time of worship, meditating on the Goddess,

Within six months  , you need not think any more about powers.

12,SAyamkale padedhyasthu    sa shivo naathra  samsaya  ,

Boorje vilikhya   gutikaam   swarnasthaam   dhareyethyadhi.

12.If it  is  read   in the evening  without any dubt , Lord shiva would be with him,

And it can be written on palm leaf , put in a golden talisman and worn.

13.Purusho DAkshine vaahou  , yoshiddhama   buja thadhaa ,

Sarva sidhi yutho   bhoothva   Dhanavan o puthravan bhaveth.

13.The  male should sit on the left   and  worship with the right hand ,

And then he would get  all powers become rich and be  blessed with children.

14.Idham  kavacham ajnathwa  yo Japeth   dhanadham shubhe  ,

SA   Sasthragathamapnothi   so achiraanmruthyu  mapnuyath.

14.If this armour  addressed to Kubhera is   chanted  unknowingly  ,

He would  go towards   Sastras and soon embrace   death.

15.Kavechenavruthe   ithyam yathra   yathraiva gachathi .

THathra thathra mahadevi   sampoojyo   nathra  samsaya,.

15.Wherever one goes wearing   this   armour  ,

There without any doubt   the great Goddess  would be present.

Ithi  Guptha sadhana thanthrokthd Dhanadha  Kavacham  SAmpoornam.

   (Bhairava  is considered   as an incarnation of Lord Shiva by some people and as  an assistant to Lord Shiva  by I others. There is a  legend that he was created  by Lord Shiva to pinch off  one head of Lord Brahma  when due to pride  Brahma  misbehaved with him. He is considered as the chief of security of the   town of Varanasi  (kotwal)    and Adhi Sankara  has written a mellifluous  prayer addressed   to Kala Bhairava in Varanasi  . But Bhairava  is also worshipped by Thanthrics    of  Hindu and Buddhist religions.  There is a temple dedicated to Swarna Akarshana Bhairava  in Dindukal   city of Tamil Nadu .Unlike other   forms of Bhairava  , swarnakarshana  Bhairava   has a pleasand look    and   sits  along with his consort. It is believed that  by worshipping him  , you would become wealthy . IN this translation , I have given the Swarna Akarshana  Manthra  in the beginning    and the prayer addressed to him afterwards  . I  decide to depend  on SWarnakarshana  BHairava   who sits on the throne

In the  Gem studded  stage  which is in the forest of   Parijatha  plants ,

And   who is the  one who gives gold and who  holds  a pot  of Gangfa water ,

Hand drum  , trident  in his auspicious hands , who has   three  eyes,

 And who  is with his consort who shines  like   the molten gold.

And to one who resembles   the full moon and whose face shines like lotus   flower.

25.Namosthesthu swaroopaya  , swarnalankara   shobhine  ,

Nama swarnakarshanaya  , swarnabhaya  namo nama.

25,Salutations to one who has his own form who shines with decorations with gold,

Salutations to one   who attracts gold  , Salutations who looks glamorous in gold.

26.Namasthe  swarna kantaya  , swarnabha  ambara   dharine  ,

Swarna simhasanasthaya  , SWarna  padaya   they nama

26.Salutations to one with golden neck  , and one who wears golden colour cloth,

Salutations to God who sits on golden throne   and who has a  golden feet.

27.Namo  SWarrnabha padaya  , swarna kanchi sushobine,

Namasthe   swarna jangaya   BHaktha kamadudhatmane.

27.Salutations to one whose feet shines like Gold  ,and who shines  in golden belt,

Salutations to one having a golden thigh   and one who fulfills desires   of his devotees.

28.Namasthe  swarna bhakthaya , kalpa vruksha   swaroopine  ,

Chinthamani swaroopaya , namo  brahmadhi sevine.

28.Salutations to the devotee of gols   who has the form of wish giving tree ,

Salutations   to one  who is like wish giving gem   , who is served  by Brahma   and others.

29.Kalpa drumadhya   samsthaya   bahu swarna pradhayine,

Namo Hemakrshanaya  , bhairavaya  namo nama.

29.Oh Lord who gives   lots of Gold   like the  wish fulfilling Kalpaga  tree  ,

Salutations to one who is attracted by gold  and to Lord  Bhairava.

30.Sthavenanena   santhushto   bhava  ,lokesa  Bhairava  ,

Pasya maam karuna drushtyaa   saranagatha  vathsala.

30 Oh Lord of the world Bhairava  , become pleased  with this prayer ,

Ands look at me   with mercy oh Lord who loves  those who surrender  to him.

31. Sri Maha bhairavasya   idham  stotra muktham    sudurlabham,

Manthrathmakam   maha punyam   , sarvaiswarya  pradhayakam.

32.This pearl of prayer   addressed to great Bhairava is difficult to get  ,

The soul of the manthra would lead to blessed deeds and  would  get all sorts of wealth.

33. Ya paden nithyam   yekagram     pathakai   pramuchyathe  ,

Labhathe mahathim lakshmim  ashtaisvaryamapnuyath.

33,If this is read daily with concentration , you would escape from evil deeds,

And   e you would get  great wealth   and the eight types of wealth would be earned by him.

34.Chinthamanim avapnothi   , dhenu  kalpa tharum druvam,

Swarna rasim   avapnothi   seegrameva na samsaya

34.He would make the wish giving gem , cow and Kalpaga tree   his own without doubt,

He  would get    without any doubt quickly    heaps of gold.

35.Tri sandhyam ya padeth stotram   dasavruthya  narothama  ,

SWapne   sri Bhairava  thasya sakshath bhoothvaa   jagadguru.

35. To the who reads this ten times daily at dawn, noon and dusk,

Would be able    to see  Bhairava  , the  motherly teacher  of the  world in his dream.

36.Swarna rasi  dadath   thasyai   thath kshanam   nathra   samsaya,,

Ashta vruthya   padeth yasthu   sandhyayaym   va narothamam.

36.He would give    those great men who read it eight  times,

At dawn, noon and dusk  without    any doubt  heaps  of gold.

37.Labhathe sakalaan kamaan   sapthahaan na samsaya,

SArvadha ya padeth stotram   bhairavasya   mahathmana,

37.To him who reads   it , always   the great Bhairava ,

Would fulfill all their  desires within a week  without any doubt.

38.Mriyathe sathrava  thasya   alakshmi  naasam aapnuyath,

Akshayam labhathe   saukhyam   sarvadaa  manavothama.

38.  The enemies will die   and absence of auspiciousness  will perish  ,

And  non ceasing   happiness would be that of the    great human beings.

39.Ashta   panchath   varnadyo   manthra raja prakeerthaha,

Daridrya   dukh samana   swarnakarshana karaka

39.Those who sing this  king of manthras   fifty eight times  ,

Would get   their  poverty and sorrow destroyed   by the one  who attracts  gold.

40. Ya yena   sanchayeth  dheeman    stotram  prapadeth sadaa ,

Maha Bhairava sayujyam,   sa anantha kale   labeth druvam.

40.If   the great one   after repeatedly reading the stotra   accumulates it,

He would go the presence of great Bhairava  at the end of his life definitely.

1.Janaki Nath   sahay Karen  jab  kaun  bigad kare  nar theron?

1.If the  Lord of Sita were  to help , who ever can cause  trouble to you?

2.sooraj, Mangal  , Som  , Brugu sutha  ,  Budha aur guru vara dhayak  thero.

Rahu , Kethu   kee naahin gamyatha   sangh   saneechar   hoth huchero

2.The sun, the mars , the moon  , Venus, Mercury and Jupiter  would give you boons,

Rahu and Kethu cannot come near you   and along with them   Saturn would  also disappear.

3.Dusht Dussasan  , vimal Draupadhi  cheer uthar   kumanthar prero ,

Thaki   sahay kari  Karunanidhi   bad gaye   cheer ke bhaar   ganero

3.The Evil Dushasana  tried to take off robes  of Good Draupadhi  with bad intentions,

And at that time   the Lord  of mercy helped  her  , increased length of her robe and made it heavy

.

4.Jaaki   sahay kari  Karunanidhi   thake  jagat mein  bag bade ro,

Raghuvamsi santhan  sukhdayi  , thulasidas charanan ko   chero.

4.When the treasure  of mercy   helps some one, he has  great future in this world,

And that  lord of Raghu clan gives  happiness  to saints   and Thulasidas  is the servant of his feet.

1.Thannai maranthu  sakala ulaginayum,

Manna nitham Kakkum Mahasakthi-Annai  ,

Avale thunayendru   anavaradam nenjam,

Thuvalathiruthal Sukham

1,Forgetting herself completely that mighty Shakthi(power)

Protects   all the worlds and those  who  rule  them,

And it is pleasure  not  to lose our heart any time  ,

Always thinking   that  she  is our   support.

2.Nenjathjil  kavalai   nithamum payirakki  ,

Anji uyir vaazhthal   ariyamai –thanjamendre ,

Vayyam yellam kakkum maha sakthi   nallarulai,

Iyyamara  pathal   arivu.

2.It is ignorance  to  live   greatly scared ,

After growing  the crop of worries  in the mind ,

And it is wise  to catch hold   without   any doubt  ,

The divine grace of the Great  Shakthi   who protects all the world.

3.Vaiyakathukku  illai   maname!.Ninakku   nalam,

Cheyya karuthi ivai  cheppuven –Poyyillai  ,

Yellam  purakkum   irai namayum kakkumendra  ,

Chollal  azhiyum thuyar.

3.Not to the  world, oh mind , I am telling this,

To you   to do you  Good-this is  not a lie,

The  word that the “  the  God  of  all the places  ,

Would also protect us”,  would  destroy your sorrow.

4.Yennir kadangamal   yengum paranthanavai,

Vinnir   chudarkindra meenaiyellam  -panniyathor ,

SAkthiye   nammai  chamaitharhu kaan, noorandu,

Bakthiyudan vaazhum padikku.

4.That power  which created  the difficult to count stars ,

Wich are   shining   and spreading  every where  in the sky,

Has also created us so that  we would live,

For a period of humdred years   with devotion.
