Karmam yellaam  odungi yen deham  

The body  after  my karmas  come to an  end

കർമ്മമെല്ലാം ഒടുങ്ങിയെൻ ദേഹമീ

മണ്ണിൽ വീഴുന്ന നേരത്തു മാധവാ

മൃത്യുഭീതി അകറ്റുവാൻ നിന്നുടെ

കണ്മുനകളാലൊന്നെന്നെ നോക്കണേ!

 

Karmam yellaam  odungi yen deham  yee

mannil veezhunna  nerathu  Madhava

Mruthyu bheethi   agathuvaan   ninnude

kan munakalaal onnu yenne  nokkane

 

After  karma  comes to an end    , at the time when my body  

Falls on the ground , Oh Madhava

For removing the fear  of death, please  

See  me with   the edge  of your eyes

 

മെല്ലെ മെല്ലെ അടയുന്ന കൺകളിൽ

നിന്റെ മോഹനരൂപം തെളിയണേ

ശൂന്യമാകുന്ന കാതുകൾ നിന്നുടെ

നാമമന്ത്രങ്ങൾ കേട്ടടഞ്ഞീടണേ!

 

Melle melle  adayunna  kankalil

Ninde  mohana  roopam  theliyane

Soonyamaakunna  kaathukal  ninnude

Nama  manthrangal  kettu  adanjidane

 

In my slowly  , slowly  shutting eyes

Let your pretty  form become clear

Let  the  ears   which  are  going to be zero

May  hear  chants  of  your names  and get closed

 

വേദനകൾ അകറ്റുവാൻ എന്നുടെ

ചാരെ പുഞ്ചിരി തൂകി നീ നിൽക്കണേ

നേർത്തലിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നൊരു ശ്വാസത്തിൽ

നിൻ കളഭത്തിൻ ഗന്ധം നിറയ്ക്കണേ!

 

Vedanakal agathuvaan  yennude  

Chaare  punchiri  thooki  nee nilkkane

Nerthu alinju  pokunnoru   swasathil,

Nin kalabathin   gandham  nirakkane

 

For remove  my pains, please

Stand near  me laughing prettily

In the breath which  slowly   dies down

Please fell the perfume  of your  sandal  mixture

 

പൊൻ വളകൾ കിലുങ്ങുന്ന കയ്യിനാൽ

ഒന്നു തൊട്ടെന്റെ ആധിയകറ്റണേ

നശ്വരമായ മോഹങ്ങൾ മാറ്റിയെൻ

ചിന്തകൾക്കു നീ ശാന്തി നൽകീടണേ!

 

Pon valakal kilungunna  kayyinaal,

Onnu  thottu   yende  aadhiyagathane

Naswaramaaya  mohangal  maathiyen  ,

 Chinthakalkku nee santhi nalkidene

 

With your hands which shake  the golden bangles

Please touch me   and remove  my  worries

Please change my  desires  which are  mortal

And grant   peace   to my thoughts

 

നിൻ മുരളി തൻ നാദത്തിനാലെന്റെ

കർമ്മബന്ധത്തിൻ കെട്ടറുത്തീടണേ

കാൽത്തളകൾ കിലുക്കിയെൻ പാതയിൽ

കൂട്ടിനായെന്റെ കൂടെ നടക്കണേ!

 

Nin murali  than naadathinaal  yende

 karma bandathin kettu  arutheedene

Kaal thalakal kilukki yen paathayil  

koottinaayi   yende koode nadakkane

 

With the music  of your  flute

Please  cut off the tie of  past  karmas

Please shake  ypour anklets on my way

And walk with me  for sake  of company

 

തെറ്റുകൾ പൊറുത്തെന്നുടെ പ്രാണനെ

നിന്റെ പാദാരവിന്ദത്തിൽ ചേർക്കണേ

കൃഷ്ണ കൃഷ്ണ മുകുന്ദ ജനാർദ്ദനാ

എന്റെ ഓർമ്മകൾ നീ മാത്രമാകണേ!

 

Thethukal poruthu yennude  pranane

 Ninde  padaravindhathil  cherkkane

Krishna, Krishna Mukunda  Janardhana

 Yende ormakal nee mathram  aakane

 

Please  pardon my mistakes and attach ,

My soul to your  lotus like feet

Oh Krishna, Oh Krishna  Oh Mukunda  oh Janardhana

And make my memories   only   youself

 

കൃഷ്ണ ഗോവിന്ദ നാരായണാ ഹരേ

നിന്നിൽ ഞാനലിഞ്ഞൊന്നായി മാറണേ

അച്ച്യുതാനന്ദ ഗോവിന്ദ മാധവാ

നിന്നിൽ ചേർന്നു ഞാനില്ലാതെയാകണേ

"നിന്നിൽ ചേർന്നു ഞാനില്ലാതെയാകണേ"!
