Prayer addressed to goddess  Kathyayani

कञ्चनाभां वराभयं पद्मधरा मुकटोज्जवलां।
स्मेरमुखी शिवपत्नी कात्यायनेसुते नमोऽस्तुते॥

 

Kanchanabhaam varabhayam padhma dharaa  mukutojjwalaam

Smeramukhi Shiva pathniKathyayane suthe Namosthuthe

 

She who shines like  gold who grants  support  and boons, who is supported by lotus, Who shines with crown

Who has  a smiling face, who is wife of Lord Shiva, our  salutations to the daughter of Kathyayana ,

 

पटाम्बर परिधानां नानालङ्कार भूषिताम्।
सिंहस्थिताम् पद्महस्तां कात्यायनसुते नमोऽस्तुते॥

 

Patambara  pareedhaanaam , nanaalankara  bhooshithaam

Simha  Sthithaam , Padhma  hasthaam, kathyayana  Suthe  Namosthuthe

 

She  who wears  silk  cloth , she who is decorated  in various ways

She  who is on lion, she who has  lotus in her hand , our  salutations to the daughter of Kathyayana ,

परमानन्दमयी देवी परब्रह्म परमात्मा।
परमशक्ति, परमभक्ति, कात्यायनसुते नमोऽस्तुते॥

 

Paramanandamayee devi , Parabrahmaa , parmaathmaa

Parama Sakthi, Parama Bakthi , Kathyayna  suthe  namosthuthe

 

Goddess who is pervaded  with divine joy , She  who is divine  Brahma , She who  is divine soul

She who is divine power , who is divine devotion, our  salutations to the daughter of Kathyayana ,

विश्वकर्ती, विश्वभर्ती, विश्वहर्ती, विश्वप्रीता।
विश्वाचिन्ता, विश्वातीता कात्यायनसुते नमोऽस्तुते॥

 

Viswa karthri, Viswa barthri, Viswa harthri, Viswa preethaa

Viswa chithaa , Viswaatheethaa,Kathyayana suthe Namosthuthe

 

She who acts in the universe, She who rules  the universe,She who destroys the universe, She  who likes  the universe

She who has  a universal mind She who is beyond  universe, our  salutations to the daughter of Kathyayana ,

 

कां बीजा, कां जपानन्दकां बीज जप तोषिते।
कां कां बीज जपदासक्ताकां कां सन्तुता॥

 

Kaam bheejaa Kaam japadhandhakamm  bheeha , Japa  thoshithaa

Kaam kaam Bheeja  japadhaa  sakthaakam  kaam

 

Where is the seed , where is joy because  of chanting, Where root chant  makes you happy

Where ,where is the root of chant which makes  devotee  powerful, Where is she who makes us satisfied

कांकारहर्षिणीकां धनदाधनमासना।
कां बीज जपकारिणीकां बीज तप मानसा॥

 

Kaamkaara  harshaneekaam  dhanadhaa dhana masana

Kaam bheeja  japakarinikaam bheeja  Thapa manasa

 

Where is she  who makes us happy , The wealth giver , she who sits on wealth

Where  is the seed  which makes chanting fruitful Where is seed  of meditating mind

कां कारिणी कां मन्त्रपूजिताकां बीज धारिणी।
कां कीं कूंकै क: ठ: छ: स्वाहारूपिणी॥

 

Kaam  kaarinee  kaam  manthra  poojithaakam  bheeja  dharini

Kaam kim koom  kai ka ta chcha  swaha  roopini
