It was written by Sri Narayana Pandithacharya who was the son   of Pandit Trivikramacharya, a leading disciple of Sri Madhvacharya.. 1.Udaya ravi sahasra dyotitam ruksha veeksham
Pralaya jaladhi nadam kalpa krid vahni vaktram
Sura pati ripu vakshash cheda rakthokshitangam
Pranata bhaya haram tham narasimham namami

1.I salute  that Narasimha  who destroys   frear,

  who looks like  one thousand rising suns,Who has  an angry look ,

 who makes sound like  ocean  of deluge  ,Whose   throat  is like    the fire  at deluge,

And Who  tore the chest   of the enemy of  Indra and  drenched  his body with  that  blood.

2.Pralaya  ravi  karala akara  ruk  cakra  valam
virala  yad  uru  roci  rocitashantarala
prati  bhayatama  kopa tyutkatoccatta  hasin
daha daha narasimhasahya  vira ahitam mey

Who   is as fearsome as the   sun at deluge, who lights the horizon,

Whose great luster   fills   all  the directions,

Who   laughs  so loudly  that   great fear is created  among asuras  by his anger.

3.Sarasa  rabhasa  padapata  bharabhirava 
Prachakita  chala  sapta  dvandva  loka  stutas tvam
Ripu  rudhira  nishekeëaiva shonamghri  shalin
Daha daha narasimhasahya  vira ahitam me

Due to the loud noise created by  your  foot step which are passionate  and violent,

The  frightened asuras    are  running away   helter-skelter to all the fourteen worlds.

Which makes the blood of those  enemies    wet  your   feet.

4.Tava Ghana ghana  ghosho  ghoram aghraya jangha 
Parigham alaghum uru  vyaja  tejo  girim cha
Ghana  vighatitam agad daitya  janghala sanghd
daha daha narasimhasahya  virahitam me

Hearing  your thundering   shouts  , smelling   your   fearsome  legs,

And seeing    ypur iron rod like thighs   with  its   seemingly  great light ,

The     Asura crowd  flees  making     fearful sounds like thunder.

5.Kataki kata karala dhatak agrya stha labha
Prakata pata tadit te sat katishthati patvi
Katuka katuka dushtatopadrishti pramushtau
Daha daha narasimhasahya virahitam me

Oh Lord Your hips   which have luster   similar to a mountain peak  with luster  of Gold,

Is  clothed   in  your yellow garments which let   out luster  like the flashes of lightning  
And the   most cruel asuras   are bewildered   by it   and  they have lost  their sight.

6.prakhara-nakhara-vajrotkhata-rukshari-vakshah-
shikhari-shikhara-raktair akta-sandoha-deha
su-balibha-shubha-kukshe bhadra-gambhira-nabhe
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me.

Oh Lord your  claws which are like the thunder bold has ripped   apart  ,

The chest of  asuras   which resembles   the peak of the n mountain and the blood  ,

That is splashed about  is wetting your graceful navel    with three golden lines as well as your belly.

7.Sphurayati tava sakshat saiva nakshatra mala
Kshapita ditija vaksho vyapta nakshatra margam
Ari dara dhara janv asakta hasta dvayaho
Daha daha narasimhasahya virahitam me

Oh Lord , who made   the garland of stars    shine  in the real sky  ,

You  defeated the Asura   whose   chests   were spreading   till the ways of the stars,

Oh Lord whose hands  reaching up to the knee   and who holds the conch  and holy wheel.

8.katu vikata sataudho dhattanad bhrashta bhuyo
ghana patala vishalakasha labdhavakasham
kara parigha vimarda prodyamam dhyayatas te
daha daha narasimhasahya virahitam me

Of Lord    the attack  by your  sharp and expanded manes   have   made many a cloud fall from the sky,

And the  large number  of clouds   of the sky  got a chance  ,

To come in to contact   of your hands which are  like iron maces.

9.Hata-luta dalaghisthoth kanta-dashto ashta-vidyut
Sata-shata-katianorah-peeta-bhit sushtu nistham
Patathi nu tava kanthadhishtha-ghorantramala
Daha daha narasimasahya viryahitam me

Whose very thick neck   is turned   towards    his enemy 
Who bites   his lower lips  in very great    anger  ,

Whose    mane     dances  like lightning indicating his angry mood 

9.hata-bahu-mihirabhasahya-samhara-ramho
huta-vaha-bahu-heti-hreshitananta-heti
ahita-vihita-moham samvahan saimham asyam
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Who  defeats  very many  Sun Gods  by his invincible  violent power,

Who se roar   was greater   than the roar  of many burning fires,

And whose splendor  of  the lion face gave great scare to his enemies.

10.guru-guru-giri-rajat-kandarantar-gate va
dina-mani-mani-shringevanta-vahni-pradipte
daddhad ati-kau-damstre bhishanojjihva-vaktram
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Whose  mouth  with sharp  and fearful teeth   was more  splendid than mountain caves,

Was similar  to  the mountain of suryakantha  jewels
And similar   to   the blazing fire   that destroys  the universe.

11.adharita-vibudhabdhi-dhyana-dhairyam vididhyad
vividha-vibudha-dhi-sraddhapitendrari-nasham
vidadhad ati-katahoddhatanoddhatta-hasam
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Whose loud   shrill  laughter agitated  the  peaceful meditation of Devas,

Who concluded   that  it meant   the destruction of Indra’s enemies,

But  placing   the  shaking  universe  in very great  danger  .

12.tri-bhuvana-trina-matra-trana-trishardra
netra-trayam ati-laghitarchir vishtapavishtapadam
navatara-ravi-tamram dharayan ruksha-viksham
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Whose three  angry  eyes  wanting  to protect  even blade  of straw

Make    all   the  brillant   things of  the three  worlds dim,

By  manifesting  its   red angry  eyes similar    to the   rising sun

13.bhramad-abhibhava-bhubhrid-bhuri-bhu-bhara-sadbhid-
bhid-abhinava-vida-bhru-vibhramadabhra-shubhra
ribhu-bhava-bhaya-bhettar bhasi bho bho vibhabhir
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Who defeats  the  illusions of the world , remove the burden of the world.

By killing the bad people   who harm your devotees and remove fear of devas,

That they will be trapped in sansara and  please shine   in your great splendour

14.shravana-khachita-canchat-kundaloccanda-ganda
bhrukuti katu lalata-shreshtha-nasarunoshta
vara-da su-rada rajat-kesarotsaritare
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Whose fearsome   cheeks   are  decorated  with swinging ear globes,

Who has ferocious moving eye brows, great  forehead, nose   and red lips,

Who is a giver of boons, and has pretty teeth and  shining mane  driving away  his enemies

15.kaci-kacakacad-rajad-ratna-kotira-shalin
gala-gata-galad-usrodara-ratnangadadhya
kanaka-kataka-kanci-shinjini-mudrikavan
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Who has shining  jewel studded crown   on the  top  of his  mane

Who has a  splendid  jewel necklace along  with armlets,

And who has golden   bracelets  , belt  anklets     and finger rings

16.ari-daram asi hetau chapa-banau gadam san
musalam api karabhyam ankusham pasha-varyam
kara-yugala-dhritantra-srag vibhinnari-vaksho
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Who  holds in his hand  Chakra  , Conch  , Sword, Shield as well as mace,

Who has   the mace , the goad  as well as the noose  and holds,

In his two hands  the  the garland  intestines  torn out  from his enemy

17.cata cata cata duram mohayan bhramayarin
kadi kadi kadi kayam jvalaya sphotayasva
jahi jahi jahi vegam shatravam sanubandham
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Break,  break   , break ,   scare them , make them flee far away
Kill, kill, kill  and make their    body   burst in to flames,

And quickly defeat,  defeat , and defeat   my  enemies  and their friends

18.vidhi-bhava-vibudhesha-bhramakagni-sphulinga-
prasavi-vikata-damshtrojjihva-vaktra-tri-netra
kala kala kala kamam pahi mam te su-bhaktam
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

18.Burn, burn  the  inauspicious   habits  within me , Oh Narasimha,

Lord Brahma , Lord  Shiva    and Lord Indra are   scared  by sparks of fire,

Flying from your great teeth, your mouth   and three eyes,

Grant, grant, and grant my desire, Of protecting me,  who is your devotee.

19.kuru kuru karunam tam sankuram daitya-pote
disha disha vidisham me shashvatim deva drishtim
jaya jaya jaya-murte 'narta jetavya-paksham
daha daha narasimhasahya-virahitam me

Please show, show  That   mercy  on me which  you showed   to  the little son  of the great Asura,

Please  Always    turn your   vision on me     from all directions,

And have   victory , victory  Oh Lord and free me    from all  kinds of sufferings

20.stutir iyam ahita-ghni sevita narasimhi
tanur iva parishanta malini sabhito 'lam
tad-akhila-gurum agrya-shrida-rupa lasadbhih
su-niyama-naya-krityaih sad-guëair nitya-yukta

20.This prayer defeats   all inauspicious things   of those who serve Narasimha,

Who is showing   a completely   and greatly   peaceful form ,

Who based on the wishes of the best  of his devotees has a shining form,

Endowed  with   glorious   form     and beautiful feet.,

21.likuca-tilaka-sunuh sad-dhitarthanusari
narahari-nutim etam shatru-samhara-hetum
akrita sakala-papa-dhvamsinim yah paöhet tam
vrajati nriharilokam kama-lobhady-asaktah

21.Narayana Panditha who is the epitome  of clan  of TRivikrama Panditha
Has written these   prayers praising  Lord Narasimha   for destruction of Enemies,

So that    all   the sins of the  one who chants  it is destroyed,

And if he is free of lust and greed   he  would go to the worl

In  Vishnu sahasranama  , when Goddess  Parvathy asked Lord Shiva   for a short cut  to Vishnu  SAhasranama   he replies

Hey beautiful one,

I pray with Rama always,
By chanting Rama Rama and Rama,
Hey lady with a beautiful face,
Chanting of the name Rama ,
Is same as the thousand names.

Unfortunartely  Goddess  Parvathi did not seemed to have asked  for short cut to chant  Shiva sahasra nama,

But it is known that if we chant  three times   the following 8 names

Shivo  , maheswaraschaiva , Rudro  , Vishnu,  Pithamaha

SAmsara  vaidhya ,sarvesha   Parmathma  , Sadha  shiva

शिवो महेस्वरश्च्हैव
रुद्रो विष्णु पिथामह
संसार वैध्य सर्वेश
परमात्मा सदा शिव

The  lord of peace  , the greatest god , the angry  one ,

He who has   form of Vishnu  , He who has  form of Brahma,

He who is doctor  of the world, The divine soul  of everywhere,

He who is always at peace

Then we will get   the effect  of Chanting  1008 names of Shiva

If you chant it once you will not have   any bad dreams and get good sleep

(Dandakam is a style of poem where  there is no limit to the length of a single line ,Hearing    the Anjaneya dandakam,  I was very much attracted by it. My knowledge  of Telugu   was not at all sufficient to translate  it,  Then fortunately I stumbled  on an English translation  posted  in India divine   web site  by one : Sri BVVHB Prasada Rao (The main English Translator of this  Dandakam) and  Raveendra Boggaram.I have based  my translation  based on theirs(my  humble salutations to them) .I have  ofcourse   used my style of writing  . I salute  the  son of  Aanjana, who  has great  valour,

Be by my side always  when I am in troubles and protect me,

Oh God who  is the son born to Anjana  devi,

I have  always  seen you as  the  merciful  one  , to look after me when I am in trouble,

You protected me   as a benevolent god  , You were  the mother  who  called me near

  You  were  the minister of sugreeva  , And you saw  Rama  and Lakshmana.

For the  sake  of  job of  his  master

Vaarin  vicharinchi  , sarveshu  poojinchi, yabbanujun  bantu gavinchi ,

Yavalinin jampi  kakusthathiakun  daya  drishti  veekshinchi  ,

Kishkinda ketenchi  , sri rama karyarthivai lankaketrenchiyun

You enquired with them, you worshipped them , then went   and met the younger brother sugreeva  ,

Got killed  Vali, saw the merciful  look of the  Kakustha    brothers,

Recovered KIshkinda , Searched for  Lanka , for the work of Rama  ,

Killed  Lankini , you set fire   to  Lanka ,Saw Sita(Daughter of earth)

And became ecstatic and handed   over to her    the  ring of Rama to her 

Sri Ramukunnichi, Santoshanun Jesi, Sugrivunum Angadun Jambavanthadi
Neelaadulun Goodi, Yaasetuvun Daati, Vaanarul Mookalai, Daityulan Drunchaga, Ravanudantha Kalagni Ugrundudai, Kori, Brahmandamainatti Yashakthinin Vesi, Yalakshmanun Moorcha Nondimpaga Nappude Poyi Sanjeevanin Dechi, Soumithrikinnichi Pranambu Rakshimpaga,

After  making her happy   regarding Rama, and along with  Sugreeva, Angadha  , Jambavan,

And Neela , you crossed  the Sethu(bridge) , and when the  monkeys   were  killing the Rakshasas,

Which made   son of  Ravana  as furious as  Rudra    who sent the  SAkthi   given to him  by Brahma,

Which made  Lakshmama   faint and  which made you  immediately go and   bring  the SAnjivini,

And   save the life  of Lakshmana

 Kumbakarnadi Veeraditho Poradi, Chendadi,Sri Rama Banagni Varandarin Ravanun Jampaga Nantha Lokambulanadamai Yundanavvelanan, Navvibhishanun Vedukan Dodukan Vachi, Pattabhishekambu Jeyinchi, Seethamahadevinin Dechi, Sriramukun Icchi, Ayodhyakun Vachi, Pattabhishekambu Samrambhamaiyunna,

You fought   with  valorous heroes like  Kumbhakarna  , hurt them  and they were killed by    fire  arrows  of Rama   , who also killed   Ravana by Rama  Banas   and for the sake  of the good of the world , the war was brought to an  end  and Vibheeshana   was crowned as the king , you brought the  great queen Sita , gave her to Rama, came back to Ayodhya and performed the   crowning of Rama

There  is no one who is more  dear to me than you.If I   sing   your name  , my  devotion to Rama    would increase and all  the sins  that I have done    would be destroyed

Bhayamulun Deerune Bhagyamul Galgune Sakala Samrajyamul Sakala Sampathulun Galgune Vanarakara! Yo bhakthamandara! Yo punyasanchara!

All  my fears would be removed  , my luck would increase  , I would get all the prosperity   in all  the world  , Oh lord of the monkeys  , oh mandara   flower of devotees, Oh  Lord   who always   travels doing good deeds

Yo dheera! Yo Shura! Neeve Samasthambu Neeve Phalambuga Velasi

Oh Courageous one  , Oh Valorous one  , You are  my everything  , You please  become  all  that will result

Oh  lustrous   furious  Hanumantha    who is  a joy filled  warrior  , on whom is written name Rama , who always  meditates on him  as Brahmam,  who with   the sound of Om and hreem  removes   the fear to ghosts  , dead bodies   and devils and  by the rotation of his tail  and  dashing them to  the ground, who by his  mighty arms and fists  breaks them in to pieces and  who ties  them and drags by his hair blades,

You have the appearance  of Lord Rudra     during  the fires  of deluge, you shine with the luster of Brahma and seeing   your luster  , I call you  “come come my darling Narasimha”, my god   and request you to shower  me with your merciful glance

(In agni puranna , Agni  (fire) gives   several advices to  sage Vasishta. In that Mahathma  Pushkar says that “Men commit several   sins like theft  , murder , rape etc etc By this their mind becomes dirty.When at a time  they realize  and repent  for these , they   want to get  rid  of  threes sins.At  that  time  by  chanting   this prayer  to Lord  Vishnu   with faith , they   get rid  of all  their sins  and  that  is why  this prayer  is called  “prayer to destroy  all sins  committed”

विष्णवे विष्णवे नित्यं विष्णवे विष्णवे नमः ।
नमामि विष्णुं चित स्थमहंकारगतिं हरिम् ॥
चित्तस्थमीशमव्यक्तमनन्तमपराजितम् ।
विष्णुमीडयमशेषेण अनादिनिधनं विभुम् ।।

विष्णुश्चित्तगतो यन्मे विष्णुर्बुद्धिगतश्च यत् ।
यच्चाहंकारगो विष्णुर्यव्दिष्णुमॅयि संस्थितः ॥

Vishnave, vishnave   nithyam   vishnave  vishnave  nama

Namami  Vishnum   chithastham  ahankara  gathim  harim,

Chithasthameesam  avyaktha  anantha maparajitham

Vishnu meedyam   aseshena  anadhi  nidhanam   vibhum

Vishnu   chitha gatho yanme   vishnor budhi   gathascha  yath.

Yacchangarako   Vishnur yad Vishnu mayi samsthitha

Oh Lord  Vishnu  , Oh lord  Vishnu , daily  salutations   to  lord Vishnu  , Oh Vishnu

I salute  Vishnu, who is  in the mind  as Lord  Hari   who is  devoid  of any pride ,

I  salute   the  God who is in my mind   as   not clear, without any end,

Who cannot  be defeated,  who is the praisewoerthy Vishnu,

Who is the lead    who does  not have any beginning  or end.

Vishnu  lives in my mind    and also shines  in my intelligence,

And that  Vishnu  who is like that , pervades in me everywhere.

करोति कर्मभूतोऽसौ स्थावरस्य चरस्य च ।
तत् पापं नाशमायातु तस्मिन्नेव हि चिन्तिते ॥
ध्यातो हरति यत् पापं स्वप्ने दृष्टस्तु भावनात् ।
तमुपेन्द्रमहं विष्णुं प्राणतातिॅहरं हरिम् ॥

Karothi  karma bhootho asou  sthavarasya charasya  cha,

THath paapam   naasamaayathi thasminneva hi chinthathe

Dhyatho    harathi yath paapam swapne   drushtasthu bhavanaath

THam upendramaham vishnum pranatharthi haram harim

He  lives  as thar which activates, movable and immovable  things,

And  by just just thinking about him,   all their sins would be destroyed

And those meditate on him , would be able to see  their sins get destroyed in dream,

And I salute  that Vishnu , the brother of Indra and Hari who destroys   sufferings of those   who pray him.

जगत्यस्मिन्निराधारे मज्जमाने तमस्यधः ।
हस्तावलम्बनं विष्णुं प्रणमामि परात्परम् ॥
सर्वेश्वरेश्वर विभो परमात्मन्नधोक्षज ।
हृषीकेश हृषीकेश हृषीकेश नमोऽस्तु ते ॥

Jagathyasmin niraadhaaro majjamaane thamasyadha,

Hasthavalambanam Vishnum  pranamaami  parathparam,

Sarveswareswara vibho paramathan   adhokshaja,

Hrishikesa  , Hrishikesa , Hrishikesa  namoathuthe

In this world  , having no support in this life  of ignorance ,

I Salute  Lord Vishnu   who gives me   hands  of support ,

Oh Lord who is God of all, Oh divine God  with lotus like eyes,

Oh Hrishikesa, Oh Hrishikesa , Oh Hrishikesa  , I salute you

नृसिंहानन्त गोविंद भूतभावन केशव ।
दुरुक्तं दुष्कृतं ध्यातं शमयाधं नमोऽस्तु ते ॥
यन्मया चिन्तितं दुष्टं स्वचित्तवशवर्तिना ।
अकार्यँ महदत्युग्रं तच्छ्मं नय केशव ॥

Nrusimha  Anantha  Govinda , bhoothabhavana, kesava,

Duruktham, Dushkrutham  , Dhyaatham Shamayaadham  Namosthu the,

Yanmayaa   chinthitham  dushtam  swachitha vasa varthinaa ,

Akaryamahadh athygram   thachchamam   naya  kesava

Oh Nrusimha  who is endless , Oh Govinda, Oh Kesava who creates  all beings,

The bad words  , evil acts  or sinful thought may  please be pardoned, my salutations,

Without  my mind not being  under my control, I made evil thoughts,

And  did evil acts  , please  calm them down  , Oh Kesava

ब्रह्मण्यदेव गोविंद परमार्थपरायण ।
जगन्नाथ जगध्दतः पापं प्रश्मयाच्युत ॥
यथापरह्मे सायाह्मे मध्याह्मे च तथा निशि ।
कायेन मनसा वाचा कृतं पापमजानता ॥

Brahmanya   deva , paramartha parayana ,

Jagannadha  jagadh datha   paapam  prasamachyutha

Yadha  paraahyo  madhyahno   cha  thadha  nisi,

Kayena  manasa   vacha   krutham  paapamajaanatha

Oh god  of quality of Brahmins  who follows    what is true ,

Oh Lord of the universe, Oh God who nurtures the  universe, Oh Achuyutha , please remove my sins,

The sins done by me   during  morning, noon and night,

By my body, mind  and words are   done   without my realizing it

जानता च हृषीकेश पुण्डरीकाक्ष माधव ।
नामत्रयोच्चारणतः पापं यातु मम क्षयम् ॥
शरीरं में हृषीकेश पुण्डरीकाक्ष माधव ।
पापं प्रशमयाध त्वं वाक्कृतं मम माधव ॥

Jaanathaa  cha  Hrishikesa, pundarikaksha  Madhavam

Nama  thryoccharanatha  paapam     yaathu  mama  kshayam,

Sareeram   may hrishikesa   Pundarikaksha  Madhava  ,

Paapam prasamaayaadha thwam   vaakrutham  mama  madhava

If I knowingly chant   your three names viz  Hrishikesa ,

Pundarikaksha(lotus eyed)   and Madhava , let all my sins melt away,

Oh  Hrishikesa ,oh lotus eyed one  , Oh Madhava  ,

Let   the sins committed  by me  by body and word  be destroyed

यद् भुंजन यत् स्वपंस्तिष्ठन् गच्छन् जाग्रद यदास्थितः ।
कृतवान् पापमधाहं कायेन मनसा गिरा ॥
यत् स्वल्पमपि यत् स्थूलं कुयोनिनरकावहम् ।
तद् यातु प्रशमं सर्वं वासुदेवानुकीर्तनात् ॥

Yadh  bunjan   yath swadishtan  gachan  jaagrada  yadhasthitha,

Kruthavaan   paapamadhaaham   kaayena  manasaa   giraa,

Yath    swalpamapi  yath sthoolam   kuryoni narakavaham

Thad  yaathu   prasamam   sarvam   vaasudevaanu keerthanath

Let all  the sins committed  by me while eating, sleeping, standing  ,

Walking   or being in state of being awake  by my body or mind,

Which are  capable of taking me to  hell in a small  or huge way,

Would all  be completely   destroyed by singing name of Vasudeva

परं ब्रहम परं धाम पवित्रं परमं च यत् ।
तस्मिन् प्रकीर्तिते विष्णौ यत् पापं तत् प्रणश्यतु ॥
यत् प्राप्य न निवतॅन्ते गन्धस्पशाॅदिवजिॅतम् ।
सूरयस्तत् पदं विष्णोस्तत् सर्वं शमयत्वधम् ॥
( अग्नि पुराण : १७२.)

Param Brahma  Param dhama pavithram paramam cha  yath,

THasmin   prakeerthathi  Vishno yath    paapam    thath pranasyathu

Yath  praapya cha  nivarthanthe  gandha  sparsaandhi varjitham,

Soorayasthath   padham    vishno sthath    sarva   samayathvadham

He   who sings about  Vishnu  m, who is the divine Brahman ,

The divine place of stay   and  divinely pure, his sins  would get destroyed,

People who reach  that place  , never ever   to return  are  devoid,

 Of  senses like touch and smell, and let that position remove  all my sins

माहात्म्यं :-
पापप्रणाशनं स्त्रोत्रं यः पठेच्छृणुयादपि ।
शारीरैमॉनसैवॉग्जैः कृतैः पापैः प्रमुच्यते ॥
सर्वपापग्रहादिभ्यो याति विष्णोः परं पदम् ।
तस्मात् पापे कृते जप्यं स्त्रोत्रं सवॉधमदॅनम्॥

Magathmyam

Papa  pranaasanam stotram    ya padeth srunyaadh api,

Sareerai  manase  vaakjnai   kruthe paape  pramuchyathe

SArva  papa  grahaadhibhyo yaathi vishno param padham,

Thasmath   paape kuthe   japyam stotram  samvada  mardhanam

Greatness

He who reads or hears  this prayer  of “Papa pranasanam(destruction of sins)”

Would get rid of all the sins   done by body, mind   as well as words,

He would get rid of all  problems caused   by evil  planets and reach Lord Vishnu

And so if you realize that  you have done a sin, chant this prayer  which destroys sins
