Lord Parameswara  says

 

Jagan mathave  , Mangala   chandika devi

Yeppozhuthum mangalathai koduppavale

Vipathukkalai   thavirppavale

Vishnuvin sodhariye

Devi yemai kaapaai

Ninaitha  mathirathil   amangalangalai pokkubavale

Mangalangalai koduppavale

 

Oh mother  of the world  , Goddess  Mangala Chandika

She who always  grants auspiciousness

She who avoids accidentds

She who is sister  of Vishnu

Oh Goddess  protect us

She who removes   all bad thinks  just by thinking about her

And always grants  auspiciousness

 

Shubhangalayum   nalankalayum  idai vidaathu,

Vaari vazhangum   Chandika  devi

Nallana  cheithalayum  ,nanmaikalayume yeppozhuthum

Uruvaka  udayavle

Theemayai  oru naalum   tharaa  devi

Nanmaikalai mattume aalayamaaka

Kondulla devi   unnai  vanangukiren

 

Oh  Goddess  Chandika    who  showerds  good  and comforts

Without any break

She who has the personality  of doing good   and giving comforts always

Oh Goddess  Who at no times  gives bad things

Oh Goddess  who has temple  which has  only good

I am saluting you

 

*kizhamayil  poojithaal   virumbi ninaithathai yellam

Vaari vazhangi   manitharkalukku   yeppozhuthum  nanmai  cheipavale  vanakkam

 

If you are  worshipped on * days, you who grants in heapsall that is good and who always does good to people  , my salutations

 

Mangalam yendra  sollin  porule

Porulin  uruvame

Nanmaikku  nanmai   aanavle

Samsara  sagarathai mangalamudayathaakum devi

Mokshathayum  thanthu  rakshipavala  vanakkam

SheShe who has  become good of good

Oh Goddess  who makes  ocean of Samsara  , as auspicious

Who grants  salvation    and protects us  , Salutations

 

Mangalam yendra  porulin saaramaanavale

Yella   karuma kaariyangalkum m uruvaanavale

Mangala   chandikye, ummai *  kizhamayil

Poojippavarkalukku   anaithu nalankalum  alli  vazhangum

Devi  un  thiru malar  padha  kamalangal   saran adainthen

 

She who is the meaning of the word  Mangalam

She who is the form of   all duties   and jobs

Oh Mangala ChandikaTo those   who worship you on

*day, you grants in heaps all good things

Oh Goddess , I am surrendering to your divine lotus  like feet
