Prayer  to Lord Ganesa

ഉത്തമാംഗത്തിലെ ഇന്ദുവും ഗംഗയും

 ഉജ്വല സർപ്പവും ശൂലവുമായ്

കൈലാസ പർവതെ വാഴുന്നോരീശ്വരാ -

ദേവാധിദേവന്റെ പുത്രാ നമോസ്തുതേ.

 

Uthamangathile  Indhuvum   Gangayum

Ujjwala sarpavum  soolavumai

Kailasa  parvathe  vaazhunnoree easwaraa

Devadi  devande puthraa  Namosthuthe

 

He who has ganges  and moon on hi head

And has   powerful serpent  and trident

And that  God  lives  on Kailasa  mountain

My salutations  to son of that God of gods

 

ഉണ്ണിക്കുടവയർ നന്നായ് നിറയ്ക്കുവാൻ

ഉണ്ണിയപ്പം തരാം പാൽ തരാം ദേവ..

 

Unni  kuda  vayar  nannayi  nirakkuvaan

Unniyappam   tharaam  , Paal  tharaam Deva

 

To fll  the   belly  of the  baby

I will give  Unniyappam( small round  jaggery snack) and I will give milk

 

അന്തരംഗത്തിലെ അത്ഭുതമല്ലോ

ലോകാധി നായകാ ദേവാ നമോസ്തുതേ.

 

Antharangathile  adbuthamallo

Lokadhi  nayaya  Deva  Namosthuthe

 

Are  you not    the  woder  inner  secret(inside)

Oh  Lord , God  of  the world  , my salutation

 

ആന തൻ ആനന്ദ വേഷം ചമഞ്ഞൊരു

ആനന്ദ ദായകാ പാർവതീ നന്ദനാ

 

AAna  than  aananda  vesham  chamanjoru

AAnanda  dhayaka , Parvathi  Nandana

 

He  who has put  on the  joyous  form of elephant

Oh giver of joy, Oh son  of  Goddess  Parvathi

 

മൂഷികൻ തന്നുടെ വാഹനമാക്കിയ

തുമ്പിമുഖനായ ദേവാ നമോസ്തുതേ.

 

Moshikan thannude vahanamaakkiya

THumbi  mukhanaaya    Devaa namosthuthe

 

Oh god  with  with  a trunk in face  , who ,

Made  a mouse  as  his ride, salutations
