ശിവനെയൊന്നു വാഴ്ത്തിയാൽ

ശനിയകന്നുപോയിടും

ശരണമായ് നമുക്കവൻ

ശുഭദിനങ്ങളേകിടും..

 

Shivane  onnu  vaazhthiyaal

Sani akannu  poyeedum

Saranmayi  namakku  avan

Shubha  dhinangal yegeedum

 

If  we  praise lord Shiva

The  Saturn  would move away

When we  surrender  , he

Would give  good days

 

ഫണിയണിഞ്ഞ നീ തരും

ഫലമതൊക്കെ ഞങ്ങടെ

ദുരിതമാശു തീർക്കുവാൻ

ദിവസവും തൊഴുന്നിതാ..

 

Phanianinja  nee tharum

Phalamathokke  jnangade

Duritham aasu  theerkkuvaan

Dhivasavum   thhozhunnithaa

 

You who wears the serpent  would give

All  the fruits  and that  would  be ours

For speedily  put an end to sufferings

I   am daily   saluting  him

 

മുടിയിലിന്ദു ചൂടി നീ

ഡമരുകൊട്ടിയാടുവാൻ

വരിക, നീയെനിക്കൊരു

വരവുമായി സന്ധ്യയിൽ..

 

Mudiyil  indhu  choodi   nee

Damaru  kottediduvaan

Varika, nee yenikkoru

Varavumaayi   sandhyayil

 

You who wears  the moon  on your hair

Please  come  to play,

The damaru(small drum) , in the  dusk,

You will  become  my guest

 

കനിവുതോന്നി ജീവിതം

മധുരമുള്ളതാകുവാൻ

ചൊരിയണേ കൃപാവരം

പെരിയ ദോഷം മാറുവാൻ...

 

Kanivu thonni , jeecvitham

Madhuramullathu  aakuvaan

Choriyane Krupaa varam

Periya dosham  maaruvaan

 

 

Feeling  mercy, to make  ,

The  life   sweet

Please rain boon of mercy

So that  big defects(bad times)  change
