The  twelve  Great Krishna  Manthras

1.Krishna  Moola  Manthra

 

Om Namo  Bhagawathe  Vasudevaya

 

ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय

Om  salutations  to god  who is son of  Vasudeva

 

2.Maha  Manthra

(chanting will give  mental peace)

 

हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे

3.Krishna Gayathri  manthra

(for increase  of Intelligence and get  Success  in life)

 

ॐ दामोदराय विद्महे
रुक्मिणीवल्लभाय धीमहि
तन्नो कृष्णः प्रचोदयात् ॥

 

Om Dhamodharaya Vidhmahe
Rukmani Vallabhay Dheemahe
Thanno Krishna Prachodayath .

Om, Let me meditate on the god whose belly was tied by a rope,
Oh, consort of Rukhmani, give me higher intellect,
And let God Krishna illuminate my mind.

 

Or

 

ॐ देवकीनन्दनाय विद्महे
दिव्यमङ्गलाय च धीमहि
तन्नो कृष्णः प्रचोदयात् ॥

Om Devaki nandanaya Vidhmahe
Divya mangalaya  cha Dheemahe
Thanno Krishna Prachodayath .

Om, Let me meditate on the god who is son of devaki,
Oh, Divine auspiciousness , give me higher intellect,
And let God Krishna illuminate my mind.

 

3.Santhana  Gopala Manthram (to get  a child)

 

देवकीसुत गोविन्द वासुदेव जगत्पते ।
देहि मे तनयं कृष्ण त्वामहं शरणं गतः ॥

 

Devaki sutha  Govinda,

Vasudeva  Jagathpathe  ,

Dehi mey  thanayam  Krishna,

THwamaham saranam gatha.

 

Oh Govinda who is son of Devaki  ,

And Vasudeva and the lord of   the universe,

Oh Krishna , please  grant me  a son ,

AS I have  surrendered   completly to you.

 

4.Vidhya  Gopala  Manthram(to learn quickly , remember  what  w lean  and become wise)

 

कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण सर्वज्ञत्वं प्रसीद मे ।
रमारमण विश्वेश विद्यामाशु प्रयच्छ मे ॥

 

Krishna, Krisha  , Hare  Krishna  ,

Sarvajnathvam  praseedha  may

Rema Ramana   Viswesa ,

Vidhyaam aasu   praayaschame

 

Oh Krishna  , Oh Krishna  , Oh Hari Krishna ,

Please grant me   all knowing status  ,

Oh Lord  of the universe  who  pleases  Goddess  Lakshmi  ,

Oh Please   grant me  knowledge   quickly

 

5.Klesa  Nasana manthram

 

कृष्णाय वासुदेवाय हरये परमात्मने ।
प्रणतक्लेशनाशाय गोविन्दाय नमो नमः ॥

Krishnaya  Vasudevaya  , haraye  Paramathmane

Pranatha  Klesa  Nasaya   Govindhaya  namo  nama

 

Oh Krishna , Oh Vasudeva  , Oh Hari  , oh divine God  ,

Please  destoy worries   from our life  , Oh Govinda

 

6.Ayur   Gopala  Manthra (for getting long  life span)

 

देवकीसुत गोविन्द वासुदेव जगत्पते ।
देहि मे शरणं कृष्ण त्वामहं शरणं गतः ॥

 

Devaki sutha  Govinda,

Vasudeva  Jagathpathe  ,

DEhi mey  saranam Krishna,

THwamaham saranam gatha.

 

Oh Govinda who is son of Devaki  ,

And Vasudeva and the lord of   the universe,

Oh Krishna , please  grant me protection,

AS I have  surrendered   completely to you.

 

7.  Raja  Gopalam (For  becoming  Prosperous)

 

कृष्ण कृष्ण महायोगिन् भक्तानामभयंकर ।
गोविन्द परमानन्द सर्वं मे वशमानय ॥

Krishna, Krishna  Maha yogin,

BHakthaanaam abhayam kara,

Govinda Paramananda,

Sarvam may Vasamaanaayaa

 

Oh Krishna, Oh Krishna   who is a great Yogi,

Who grants   protection to his   devotees,

Oh Govinda who grants   divine joy,

Please make   every thing under my   control

 

8. Dasakshari  manthra (for fulfilling  desires)

 

गोपीजनवल्लभाय स्वाहा ॥

 

“Gopi Jana  Vallabhaya   SWahaa.”

 

I dedicate wverything   to the consort  of all Gopi

 

9,Maha  Bala Gopala Manthra (for  getting great strength

 

नमो विष्णवे सुरपतये महाबलाय स्वाहा ॥

 

Namo   Vishnave  , sura  pathaye  ,

Maha balaaya   swaha

 

 

Salutations to Vishnu  , the lord of all devas,

I dedicate myself   to the greatly strong one

 

10.Krishna Arghya Manthra (To be chanted  at end of Pooja with offering of Water)

 

जातः कंसवधार्ताय भूभारोत्तारणाय च ।
कौरवाणां विनाशाय दैत्यानां निधनाया च ॥
पाण्डवानां हितार्थाय धर्मसंस्थापनाय च ।
गृहाणार्घ्यं मया दत्तं देवक्या सहितो हरे ॥

Jaathah Kamsa vadhaarthaaya Bhoobhaaro uttaranaaya Cha
Kouravaanaam Vinaashaaya dhaityanaam Nidhanaaya Cha
Paandavaanaam Hithaarthaaya Dharmasamsthaapanaaya Cha
Gruhaan Arghyam Mayaa Dhattam Devakyaa sahitho Hare

 

Was born to kill  Kamsa,  to reduce  burden of earth

To destroy  Kauravas, To destroy   Asuras

To  help  Pandavas, establish  dharma

Oh Lord  I am giving you homage, along  with Devaki

 

11,Ichaa  Poorthi  manthra (manthra  for fulfilling desires)

ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं कृष्णाय गोविन्दाय स्वाहा ॥

 

Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Krishnayai Govindayee Swaha

12 Krishna  Saranam  Manthra (To  surrender   to Krishna

 

ॐ श्रीकृष्णाय शरणं मम ॥

12.Krishna  Prapathi  Manthra(To  solve  all problems)

 

कृष्ण त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव ॥
