1.Durga, Shivaa , Mahalakshmir Maha Gauri cha Chandikaa
Sarvajnaa ,sarva lokesi ,sarva karma phala pradhaa
1.Durga, wife of Shiva , Mahalakshmi , Mahagauri , killer of chanda
She who knows everything, she who belongs to all worlds, The one who makes all actions success
2.SArva theerthamayee , punyaax, deva yonir ayonijaa
BHoomija , nirgunaadhara sakthi schaneeswari thadhaa
2.She who is pervaded by all sacred waters, who is blessed, the creator of devas, she who was not born of any womb
She who was born to earth , she who does not have any properties, the power which supports, one goddess who does not have any one above her
3.Nirgunaa nirahankaaraa sarva garva vimardhini
SArva loka priyaa vaani , sarva vidhyaadhi devathaa
3.She who has no properties, she who is without pride, she punishes all pride.
She who is liked by all worlds, The goddess of speech, The goddess controlling all knowledge
4.Parvathi , deva maathaa cha vanesaa , vindhya vaasini
THejovathi mahaamathaa , koti surya samaprabhaa
4.The daughter of mountain, the mother of devas, the goddess of earth, she who lives on vindhya mountain
She who is with luster, the great mother, she who has luster equal to crores of suns
5.DEvathaa vahni roopaa cha sarojaa varna rooopini,
Gunaasrayaa, Guna madhyaa , Guna thraya vivarjithaa
5.The goddess who has form of fire and she who has colour of lotus
She who helps good people, she who is in middle of good people, she who is divided in to three types
6.Karma jnana pradhaa kaanthaa sarvasamhara karinee
Dharma jnanaa , dharma nishtaa, sarva karma vivarjithaa
6.She who grants duties and wisdom. The wife. She who destroys everything
She who knows dharma, she who observes dharma, she who is free from all karmas
7.Kamakshi , kama samharthri kama krodha vivarjithaa
Saankari Saambhavi Saanthaa Chandrasuryaagni lochanaa
7.She who has passionate eyes, she who destroys passion, she who avoids passion and anger
She who is wife of Sankara, She who is wife of Shambhu, She who is peaceful, she who has moon, sun and fire as eyes
8.Sujayaa jaya bhooyishtaa jahnavi jana poojithaa
Saasthraa Saasthra mayaa nithyaa Shubhaa Chandrardha Masthakaa
8.She who has pure victory, she who wins over eartrh., she who is daughter of Jahnu, She who is worshipped by people
She who is science, She who is pervaded with science, she who is forever, She who is auspicious, she who keeps half moon on her head
9.Bharathi bhraamari kalpaa karaali Krishna pingalaa
Brahmi Narayani Roudhri Charndramrutha parivruthaa
9.She who is from Bharatha, She who creeps, She who is eons, she who is terrible, she who is blackisk brown,
She who has aspect of Brahma, She who has apect of Narayana, She who is ferocious, she who is surrounded by moon and nectar
10.Jyeshteindraa , mahaamayaa , jagath sruthya adhikarini
Brahmanda koti samshthanaa kamini kamalaalayaa
10.She who is elder to Lakshmi, who is great illusion, she who is responsible for creation of the world,
She who established crores of universes, she who is lover , she who lives in lotus
11.Kathyayani Kalaatheethaa , kala Samhara Karini
Yoga Nishtaa yoga gamyaa Yoga dhyeyaa , thapaswini
11.She who is daughter of Kathyayana, she who is beyond ats, she who is cause of destroying time( death)
She who is in yogic sleep, she who goes towards yoga. She who can be meditated while in Yoga. She who does penance
12.Jnana roopaa, niraakaaraa, bhkthabheshta phala pradhaa
Bhoothathmikaa bhoothamathaa bhoothesaa bhootha dharini
12.She who has a form of wisdom, She who does not have form, She who fulfills desire of devotees
She who is soul of all beings, who is mother of all beings, The goddess of all beingws, She who is worn by beings
13.SWadhanari madhyagathaa shadaadharavivardhanee
Mohithaamsubhavaa Shubraa Sookshmaa Mathraa Niralasaa
13.She who is convenience , who is a lady, who goes through middle path, She who increases the six aspects
She who attracts, she who is like sun, she who is clean, she who is tiny, she who is alone
14. Nimnagaa neelasangaasaa , nithaanandhaa Haraa paraa
SArvajnana pradhananda, sathyaa, durlabha roopini
14.She who is deep, who appears like blue, who is forever happy, wife of Shiva , who is divine
She who enjoys giving all type of knowledge, she who is joyful , who is truthful , who has a rare form
15. Saraswathi SArvagathaa, sarvaabheeshta Dhayini
Ithi Durga ashtothara satha nama stotram SAmpornam
15.She who is saraswathi, who goes to all places and grants all desires
