Hail hai;  Sankara , Teacher of world Sankara , the lord of earth, the  god of universe

 

Arpudham  purinthida anushathil  uthithitta Sis Sabhai nadha  Natana Lola

Por padham paninthida  nimishathil arulum  por  sabhai  nada  premesa

 

He who was born in Anusha star  , to perform wonders, The god of dance  of divine hall

He who blesses  in a minute those  who salute his golden feet, the dear God who dances in golden hall

 

Arpudham purintheavaniyil valam vanthu Arut sabhai  thantha  Karunesa

He who came on procession in this world doing miracles and the merciful  one who gave us the  blessed hall

Saluting his   golden feet for getting salvation we came to your hall, oh Guru  who is God

Kaladi  vanthitta  jothi thiruveKala Kala  Sankara  Sarvesaa

 

Oh first guru who st below a banyan, Oh brilliant God whpo swallowed Halahala

Oh divne light who came to Kaladi oH god of all Sankara  who is timeless

 

Maladi paninthitta mavadi nadhane, mummalam  pokkum  magudesa

Kaladi Paninthom  kthu arulveere Kalamellam yemmai , Guru  w eesaa

 

Oh Lord who sat below mango tree  and saluted Lord Vishnu, Oh  God of top who removes  three types of dirt
