1.Sivanaarai   yendraikkum  chumakkum Nandi

Sevitha bhakthakalai  kakkum Nandi

Kavalaikalai   yennalum  pokkum Nandi

Kayilayile   nadam puriyum  kanintha  Nandi

Palliyarai  pakkathile  irukkum nandi

1.The Nandi which regularly  carries lord Shiva,

The Nandi which protects devotees   who   worship him,

The Nandi which always   destroys our worries,

The experienced Nandi who dances   in Kailasa

The Nandi   who is  near the resting place  of the lord,

2.Parvathiyin chol kettu chirikkum Nandi

Nallathoru ragasiyathai kaakum  Nandi,

Naal thorum thanneril  kulikkum Nandi

Chen karumbu unavu maalai  aniyum  Nandi

Sivanukke  uru  thunayai   vilangum  Nandi

The Nandi which takes  daily bath in water,

The Nandi which wars  the garland of   red sugarcane,

The Nandi which  is a great  help even to Lord Shiva

Arukam pul   malayum   aniyum  Nandi

Ariyathoru   vilvame   yetha  Nandi

Varum kalam  nalamaka  vaikkum  Nandi

The Nandi which came to remove the sorrows of people,

The Nandi   that  wears   garland of  Arukam grass

The Nandi   which was praised  by  Vilvam

The Nandi which keeps our future  safe.

Pradosha   kalathil  pesum Nandi

Perarulai  mantharkku   vazhangum  Nandi

Varalaru  padaithu varum  valla  Nandi

Varumayinai   yennalum agathum  Nandi

4.Oh Nandi, we salute you, please  come to  protect  us,

Nandi which talks during  Pradosham,

Nandi which gives  great grace to human beings,

The Strong Nandi   which creates  history

The Nandi   which  removes poverty forever.
