Shiva sankara Dheena bandho ,
Kasi pathe, pasu pathe
pasupasa nasin,

the universe,
Oh pretty God ,
Oh Shiva , Oh SAnkara , of friend of
those suffering ,
Oh lord of Kasi ,
Oh lord of all beings, Og h Lord who destroys all beings ,
Oh Lord of
the universe who destroys
sufferings of people caused by
karma

Jagatasraya hey purare ,

Hey Sarva bhootha janaka, Pramadhesa deva,
Hey sarva deva pari poojitha pada
padma ,

who looks after all beings,
Oh Lord with moon,sun and fire as eyes and who has a pure
form.

Sayam pratha paden
nithyam sarva papa vinasakam
Sri Yogananda theertha virachitham Sankarashtakam sampoornam.
9, If this octet on Lord SAnkara wriiten by Yogananda,
Is read both in the morning and evening it would destroy all sins.
