Uthra thunayai nee vara vendum
Sajjana sadhu rakshakane
Sabari giri vaazh aandavane-Iyapppa(Saranam Ayyappa)
Whatsoever number of births I take
You should come with as suitable help
Oh protector of good poor people
Oh God who lives on sabari –Lord Ayyappa
Maal Mahesan Unnaye padaithaar
Manikanda neeyum avaniyil udhithaai
Mahishiyai kondru acham theerthaai
Maa malai meethil nee thavathil amarnthaai- Ayyappa (Saranam Ayyappa)
Vishnu and Shiva created you
Oh Manikanda , you were born on this earth
You killed Mahishi and removed fear
On the great mountain , you sat in penance
