Prayer  to   friend on the way

1.Sri  Sankaracharya  varyam, Chandra  chooda  abhidhanam, Bhaje Marga  Bandhum

Kamesa  padhabja  Bhrungam, kama  koti  matesam, Bhaje   Sankararyam   (Sri Sankaracharya  varyam)

 

The eminent  Sankaracharya, the ornament on  Lord Shiva, I sing about  friend on the way,

The bee flying round the flower like feet  of Lord of Kama, the lord of  Kamakoti mata, I sing about  the great  Sankara (The eminent Sankaracharya..)

 

2.Kamesa  bhakthagraganyam , kala kantesa basma, aksha mala  vruthangam

Vedantha  vaakhye  Ramantham , Veda  vakhye Ramantham Sadaa poshayantham (Sri Sankaracharya  varyam)

 

The best of devotees of God of Kama, He who has penance  of Lord Shiva’s ash  and beaded chain,

He who enjoys  sentances in Vedantha  as well as Vedas,and he who always  nurtures them (The eminent  Sankaracharya.)

 

3.Kaashaya  vasthraa vruthhaangam, maara  koti samaanam, mayaa  sevyamaanam

Hasthe  viraajaath  sudandam,nyastha  sadandam , sphurath  bahu  dandam  (Sri Sankaracharya  varyam..)

 

He who observed penance of ochre robes, who is equal to one crore manmathas, who is one serving me,

With a good staff   shining in his hand, a painted staffand whose staff  is shining  (The eminent  Sankaracharya..)

 

4.Paraabhavaabdhe abhishiktham , baktha  vrundhaa  anuraktham , jayendrarya  yuktham

Sadbhi sadhaa aaradhyamaanam –thava  marga pracharam  sadhaa  chinthayantham (Sri  Sankaracharya  Varyam..)

 

He who was anointed in Parabhava  year, he who likes crowd of devotees, He  who is  with Jayendra

He who is always worshipped by good people, he who popularizes his road and he  who always thinks  (The eminent  Sankaracharya..)

 

5.Kalyana  vesham dadhaanam, kaya klesam dadhaanaam , sadaa Bhasamaanam

Bhaktha agraganyena Lakshmi kanta Sharma abhidhenaadhya nuthi  krutheyam  ( Sri Sankaracharya  varyam..)

 

He causes  an auspecious look in you , he grants you physical troubles to you and he  always shines
