Please grant me protection oh Ayyappa
1.Bhakthi illathavar dukham sahikkumbol
Bhagyathaal jnaan ninde bhakthaai
AAkula chinthakal illa yenikkennume
Asritha vatsalaa nin varathaal
When those without devotion endure suffering
Due to my luck , I became your devotee
I never have any thoughts troubling me
Oh lord who loves those who depend on you, due to your boon
2,Nin padha renukkal yethu kondallayo,
Nin vazhi tharayil jnan irippoo
Nin padha sparsathal kol mayyir kollumbol
Yen papam aaviyai poyidatte
Am I not sitting in the way you walk,
Getting the touch of the dust of your feet
When I am horripilating due to touch of your feet
Let my sin become steam and go away
3.Chinthayil yeppozhum nin rupa maakayaal
Chollunnatheppozhum nin namamaakayaal
Cheyyunntheppozhum nin ishta maakayaal
Poyyalla jnan aanu jeevanmukthan
Due to your form being always in my thought
Due to my telling always your name
And due to doing always that which you like
It is not a liem, I have salvation even while living
4.Bheethi illathe kazhinjeeduvaanai
Bhootha dhayayode jevikkuvanai
Bhoomiyolam kshama undaakaanai
Bhootha nadhaa ninde padham thozhunnen
For living without any fear,
To live with mercy to all beings
For getting patience like earth
Oh Bhootha nadha I am saluting your feet
